Question….Ive had my Dobby for a couple years now. Is the soil better than the sand or paper towels? Paper towels were recommended by his vet due to Dobby having enigma syndrome and missing his prey. Wondering if he would be more comfortable with soil tho. I mostly hand feed him his bugs. He tends to miss and run his poor little face into the bowels. Any other suggestions for lizards with special needs?
Heya great vid but quick question if anyone who sees this can answer this. Is a 20 gallon zoo med tank good? I haven't bought it I've been wanting too see if it's going to be nice for the gecko
My gargoyle gecko feels neglected, even though I got him out twice last night. He feels his species is overlooked,so would you do some programs on them?
Nice work. When you get a chance, I just started keeping Tokays🦎👍 Something a bit different. Very misunderstood animals. They just want to be left alone.
Plus, the brands sold by better stores like UVB bulbs and cork bark from ZooMed, clay substrate and terrariums from Exo Terra are not that great for reptile welfare. Exo Terra says that you can have 3 leopard geckos together in an 18x18 inch enclosure or 2 adult bearded dragons in a 36x18 inch enclosure, and Zoomed still promotes 40 gallon breeder setups for adult bearded dragons and that leopard geckos live on nothing but pure sand in the wild. Pretty much if you buy anything from the reptile supply market then it virtually always means supporting everything you dislike about Petsmart and Petco but through somewhere else.
@@gryllidaeperkcal1369 i see little glimmers of hope when you see them selling solarmeters etc , perhaps its starting to move forward. Plus if im directing people to the right products then PetSmart sees those products selling more and then prioritise them. We do nothing to help the situation by not being involved.
@@ReptilesandResearch PetSmart doesn't deserve any reptile keepers business. Why not make a video explaining to your viewers why that is and offer alternatives places to get the products you recommend?
@@andybroad189 because people dont care about that, people who are going to go to their local petsmart regardless because its close to where they live now have something to guide them on getting the right gear, should they stumble across these guides.

You seem to be passionate about going above and beyond with husbandry and the animal's well-being so why in the world are you promoting PetSmart?
People are shopping there regardless, so why not help people actually buy products that give them semi decent care.
