    I love soursop! I like to boil the leaves with moringa leaves and lemongrass to make tea. I add some honey to it and more lemon juice... what a powerhouse of Gods greatness for your body! Amazing health benefits come along with the beautiful flavors you get from it! Beautiful garden you have sir! 👍🙏✌

    I had 2 yellow passion fruit vines along my fence on the west side of the property. Heavy, heavy, heavy producers and I did nothing to them. I just stuck them in the ground about 20 feet apart after sprouting them in pots and they took off. I must have gotten over 400 passion fruits from both of those vines in their first season. South East Florida area is where they were growing at the time. My neighbor loved me for that! The vines made their way on his side of the fence too, so he got most of the fruit which I was ok with as he made juice with them and that was unbelievably delicious. Plus, he gave me the seeds too! My neighbors son who is an adult with a family of his own living 3 blocks away takes 3 blood pressure medicines to keep himself in check so I gave him a bunch of the fruits too which helps to lower blood pressure. I gave him some seeds and the rest of the seed went to everyone around me. the next year we had thousands of fruits all up and down the block! It was an amazing time!

      Yea the first yellow vine I planted gave a ton of fruit. Unfortunately it died from a freeze. I'll be planting more vines soon. All of them will be the yellow variety.

    Love it! Your olive tree is perfect. Neglect does it well. Mine has flourish and all I do is tell it how big and beautiful it is. The only way your getting olives is with a cold winter. Needs a set amount time of cold to produce. But then the rest of your tropical fruit trees will die. Go figure living in a subtropical zone.

    Did you taste the pomegranate? Some varieties are clear/white on the inside, not red. Those squirrels know they are ripe . That's why they eat them. You have a nice selection of trees.

    • @tropicalfruitman4394

      I did get to taste one and it was a bit red but mostly clear. It was ok but not like the ones you get at the grocery store. I had what looked to be a perfect one on the tree in late winter but a squirrel got to it before I did. Thanks for the comment.

      Well, the ones in pots I bring into the patio when they start turning yellow. The ones in the ground I cover overnight with a paper bag because the possum's like eat them. Hi Rosalyn. I had been getting most of my trees from the USF garden show held in April and October. Unfortunately since COVID started the show has not taken place. Let's hope it starts up again soon. You may want to try Jene's Tropicals in St. Pete. She has a great selection and many trees that are not listed on the web site. Blessings!

    Do you water or have irrigation? I see you have a hose. What do you water versus just letting Mother Nature handle it once they’re established?

    • @tropicalfruitman4394
      @tropicalfruitman4394  3 роки тому

      Yes I have installed irrigation. I have risers in almost every area that I have trees. I do water by hand for the first three weeks whenever I plant a new tree then after that I use the irrigation. Rain is even better!

    • @richverreault
      @richverreault 3 роки тому +1

      They do take time to produce. I did nothing to mine, just stuck some of them in pots and some in the ground and they all produced within less than 2 years and at different times. I had mine on the south side of the property in south east florida at the time so they had full sun too. Compost tea is a good alternative to miracle grow and cheaper too. Patience, love and good vibes make plants thrive! All the best to you on your journey! 🙏✌👍
