    Just had my Polaris battery die on me after 2 years. Watched your video and ordered a Wicked Start immediately!! It fired right back up!! Thanks, man. I used your link to order it, so hopefully you got a little kickback from them. Either way, truly appreciate your videos, man!!

    Looking to replace my battery as well. Looks like it's starting to give up the ghost. Less than two years ownership while riding the bike once or twice every week and using trickle charger only 6 times out of the year. Thanks Jim...you answered many questions. My junk Polaris Batrery crapped out on my 2022 Bobber. I've been meaning to tear it our and replace it anyway. It's probably still good...but Its not holding a good charge long. Partly my fault as I haven't been riding much this Summer...just short trips which of course didn't help...But for peace of mind I ordered the WICKED STAAAAAAHT Batttttree' plus upped my AAA to include Motorcycles.... thought I had that already. Funny how one thinks of these things when nearly Stranded!!! Anyway watched this video a few times....hope it goes as smoothly here as well Thanks Jim

      Found similar results on my Harley's that had alarms that would discharge and flatten battery unless being on trickle charger, having said that this brand does not recommend this just every 30 days if not ridden and given the bobber has no alarm drain would probably follow that advice, should have waited for the end of the clip as Jim Bob does mention that LOL

    Hi there Mr. Bobbington, i have some issues with the charging system on my 2018 indian scout sixty... last year i replaced the original polaris battery stock for a yuasa battery and faild me the entire last year... A couple weeks ago i replace it for a motobatt and it´s been great but this past weekend i didn´t use my motorcyle at all and this morning the battery was almost dead... any thoughts? Honestly, I didn't do a ton of research, just wanted to get the bike back running. I've never looked into a Li swap, and kinda just wanted to stock with what the factory intended for now.

    • @Jimbobbington
      @Jimbobbington  Рік тому

      Many people have reported a seemingly random check engine light or two and being unable to pull a code. Hairbrush to me once on the first ride after getting my tune. Took it right back to the shop and they couldn't pull a code. Never happened again.

    Thanks for the heads up on this unit, looks pretty impressive based on it's stats etc, hope it's made in the US or Japan and NOT China as from my experience Chinese made NEVER lasts, having said that sometimes we have little to no choice.

    • @Jimbobbington
      @Jimbobbington  2 роки тому +1

      I just went and looked and it actually does say Made in China on the battery.... but the company that sells them is American. I'm thinking it's kinda like tires for this bike. Almost anything is gonna be better than OEM.

    • @warrensmith897
      @warrensmith897 2 роки тому

      @@Jimbobbington I hear that but that's coming off a really low base lol, last battery I put in my Harley was a Deka which is made in the good old US of A comes with an 18month warranty, not sure if they make them to suit the Indian? Deka is actually the OEM battery used by Harley but of course cheaper to buy via Deka than through Harley. Anyway hope it works out as their is Chinese and there is Chinese, some stuff is made better there depends on how well the importer monitors/works with them and or pays them.

    If you make a video about the battery I think you should explain everything it is about the battery because you're definitely promoting it.

    • @Jimbobbington
      @Jimbobbington  2 роки тому +2

      Not promoting it as I don't have enough experience with it to know if it's a great battery or not. Simply informing viewers of the battery I chose. I picked it because of price, high CCAs, and I've seen others use this same battery and haven't yet seen any complaints about it.

      @@Jimbobbington When you display a product on your channel that is promotion and promoting all that at the same time and you also suggested us to go look it up on Google for the specifications because you did not do the due diligence of getting the information and putting it in your video.
