The best sermon I heard on prosperity was two lines long. The pastor said, "The Lord is my shepherd; there is nothing I will lack, meaning my needs (not necessarily my wants, but my needs) will be met. THAT'S biblical prosperity." And then he went and preached an entire sermon encouraging us to follow Jesus and using the scriptures to back up what he said. None of this stuff about you're gonna get a new car and a new house and a million dollars and all kinds of jewelry. I don't need to hear materialistic stuff at church. I need to hear about how to become transformed into the image of Christ.
Sad and quite infantile. That's why I don't go to these types institutions. You're right they been duped.

I believe that the children of slavery are the True Israelites. Because the Bible says we will be on ships. There are conditions that you have to do to serve the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. You have to obey his laws, statutes, and commandments.💯

Also, my Jewishness doesn't make me better or above others.
It's better to focus on Christ's love for all and the fact it unites us, so we don't need to feel "extra special" or chosen above others.
I get people wanting someone to look like you, but most people who claim he looked like Jews still do aren't even Jews themselves, so they aren't "white-washing" him, they're using history to show he is Jewish which can range from light to brown

This is so sad. People are really believing what this guy is saying. So what about all of those Christians in China that are suffering persecution? Those Christians that are in North Korea even Christians that are currently in Palestine that are stuck between two regimes? They're not experiencing health, wealth and Earthly prosperity. They're being persecuted and they have more faith than the vast majority of us do in the United States and the West. I wonder would he be preaching like that if we were living under those conditions.
That's because Black Americans in Christianity love taking liked pictures, not serious struggling pictures to hold on to something they are seeking to reach a higher level than they are. Might come from using religion, and other movements to help with their pain within themselves. Not for the full strength in what religion, or any other struggles are really about.

God is giving people over to themselves. It's His wrath (Romans 1: 18-32). All of these charismatic feel good prosperity preachers AND congregants are being given exactly what they want: a false gospel that panders to their earthly wants and fleshly desires, words to tickle their ears and make them feel good-good-good. If they truly wanted God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit they would be reading and studying their Bible correctly and attending a church somewhere they were being fed the true Word and then THEY would know that the prosperity gospel is just the beginning of God pouring out His wrath on sin, satan and themselves-- the ones who reject His Son Jesus for a counterfeit god. These are birth pangs spoken of in Matthew 24:8 and in Mark 13:8. God is unfolding His plan of redemption even as I type-that didn't end with Jesus on the cross.
Lord I pray the scales be removed from their eyes as You did with Saul on the road to Damascus, that the Holy Spirit would draw them, pull them unto Himself and they wouldn't harden their hearts to Him. I pray they would hear Jesus, respond to His call and submit themselves before Jesus and be saved. Then they would know the true goodness and prosperity of God through their obedience to Him and not self.
This is my solemn prayer for ALL peoples who do not know the Risen Lord.
Sounds like they don't really know Jesus,making up he's black. Do they really need a Geography lesson?! The Jews were not black,Jesus was Jewish and came from Galilea. And I'm covered by the Blood of Jesus so I'm not Opressed! God never said that, he said we are more than conquerors in Christ,and we have the Victory!! You can't be Oppressed and have victory.

I can't see how people can stand to listen to this nonsense. I'd have gotten up and walked out a long time ago. I almost shut the video off, but then I remembered I really want to hear the commentary by our brother The Biblical Conservative.
One thing Ive noticed about this race swapping of Jesus is the fruit. For example:
When people say Jesus was Jewish( its mostly non-Jews who claim this, so its not just to look like themselves), those people say Jesus died for all and loves all. They also are humble and lift God up and preach the truth.
They help the poor and anyone in need of any color.
But as soon as they yell that Jesus had to be blk, then his followers say "Jesus only cares about blks, and wants to punish everyone else"
They only preach the Bible to talk about themselves, their skin, and how superior they are. They don't help anyone, but will demand everyone serve them. They also mostly hate non-blks and have a nasty attitude towards believers of other races
It tells me that the "Jesus was blk" movement is all about the self, pride, and taking others credit while not helping others or God in any way

Just the fact that Black's celebrate Easter is absolute proof of that. Easter is a pagan holiday that started when certain Israelites poured out drink offerings to the queen of heaven,and baked bread for her. In some cultures she is referred to as Ishtar,and others as Astarte. Chaldeans started the tradition of dying eggs centuries ago.What do rabbits and chick's,and chocolate have to do with the resurrection of Christ?Nothing. Lukewarm Christians always prefer tradition over truth. If anyone can show the scripture saying that Easter should be celebrated,I would like to see that Bible. Where in scripture did it say burn palm leaves,and mark your forehead with the ashes. It doesn't. Paul never spoke Easter,Abraham never spoke Easter. It is a man made tradition that nets millions of dollars. You can call me liar. Do your own research.
