To clean wiring, I start with Barbasol shaving creme and rinse with water after. Use a stiff bristle brush. Clean any remaining crud or overspray with lacquer cleaner using a soft cloth and sparingly. Enjoying your different approach to restoration.
WZ is not a Ram Air engine It's a manual transmission coded 4 barrel 400 used in 67, 68, and 69. Big valves, 10.75 compression, standard log style exhaust manifolds, wimpy 067 camshaft. 1967 had # 670 heads rated @ 325hp 1968 had # 16 heads rated @ 335hp 1969 used # 62 heads rated @ 330hp That engine is most likely a 68 based on the 16 heads. Happy New Year!
I’da sent that power steering hose back and made them redo it. I want to see that get fired up if possible please. Great tip on the start up timing and I forgot to mention that great tip for installing the manual tranny ( using a couple long 1/2” bolts with the head cut off ). Thanks.
