If you can play super tight defense for 90 mins and give salah no space... you'll frustrate liverpool and get a opportunity in counterattack. This low block system is the only way to beat liverpool and hopefully get a goal in counterattack. That's how even real madrid beat liverpool btw in ucl final 2022. Btw other teams are trying to play the low block but it seems slot has figured out a way in beating this system by making other forward and midfielders active as well and take advantage of spaces created if they overload on 1 player. Very surprised how high Forest are in the table but full credit to them. After the team I support (Newcastle) went to their ground and beat them, I believed that they would lose some form but they haven't. They are winning a lot of games and now some type of European qualification seems possible. It will be interesting to see if they add any players in January, as they have been known to make a lot of signings.

Forest were charged and punished with a points deduction whilst scrapping at the bottom - fighting relegation. Didn't take long to implement it either. As you say, City still have over 100 charges pending. It doesn't take much to work out what's going on here. The PL think that they can do without the likes of Forest. Manchester City are a different kettle of fish though.
Your two suggestions about City and Arsenal could potentially make you sound like you're contradicting yourself. If City gets done for those charges and ends up having points deducted because of it, then by that logic Arsenal has been robbed of two legit league titles (as would Liverpool as well). Last season Liverpool were 5 clear or Arsenal and finished 7 behind. Plus Salah’s scoring always dries up in the second half of the season. Plenty of time to go. The issue is Saka missing though.

Gibbs white was already injured for a few games and won all of those games he was away, Aina is important but we have strength in depth in wingbacks. Wood is unlikely to be injured and we are buying a new striker in Jan. In fact we even had some starters come off the last few games including murillo our star CB and we still conceded no goals and won the game. The team is very tight and knows what to do. The talent is there in every single one.

As you say, City still have over 100 charges pending. It doesn't take much to work out what's going on here. The PL think that they can do without the likes of Forest. Manchester City are a different kettle of fish though.
Your two suggestions about City and Arsenal could potentially make you sound like you're contradicting yourself.
If City gets done for those charges and ends up having points deducted because of it, then by that logic Arsenal has been robbed of two legit league titles (as would Liverpool as well).

Last season Liverpool were 5 clear or Arsenal and finished 7 behind. Plus Salah’s scoring always dries up in the second half of the season. Plenty of time to go. The issue is Saka missing though.

They are one injury away from dropping like a stone. Sels, Aina, Wood, Gibbs-White any of them injured and they are screwed. We have seen teams like Villa, Newcastle, Brighton all these years which come to a point in the season and then just collapse.
1 injury? You mean like losing a first choice midfielder for most of the season ( Danillo or Sangare ) , or having one of the first names on the team sheet ( Murillo ) pulling up injured just before the start of a match.
Don't underestimate the benefits of having a great team as opposed to having a collection of great players.

You can all fight and not accept reality but these are facts, injuries will come, pressure will increase and Forest will pullback. It will still be good season for Forest but not top 4-5.

lol okay bro, Sels? Important but we have a very good backup keeper from corinthians. Gibbs white was already injured for a few games and won all of those games he was away, Aina is important but we have strength in depth in wingbacks. Wood is unlikely to be injured and we are buying a new striker in Jan. In fact we even had some starters come off the last few games including murillo our star CB and we still conceded no goals and won the game. The team is very tight and knows what to do. The talent is there in every single one.
