Fixed canard on Mirage III is a later improvement, to improve the airflow and stability at high angles of attack (for shorter landings and betters turns), Dassault did test and optimise this, but did not use it on Mirage 2000's, was only realy efficient with mobile canards on the Rafale...
Hi Laurent! I work for Blick and would like to use this video for one of our articles about the Mirage III. I will credit your UA-cam-channel in the video. Are you okay with that? Best regards
At the time the Mirage III was designed and started beeing manufactured (late 50's) the company Breguet wasn't merged with the company Dassault so your title is quite wrong.
It's "MIRAGE" and no. Swiss Mirage IIIS were phased out in 1999 getting replaced by the F/A-18 fighter jets, meanwhile the reconnaissance version and trainer versions like this one remained in active service until 2003. This is just an Airworthy and preserved Mirage IIIDS. The only air force that currently operates them is the Pakistani air force with over 300 still flying and upgraded with modern avionics.
Bravo Swiss people involved in this project ... Bonjour, encouragements et felicitations de France.
thank you ; )
They should've went with saab instead

Pristine Masterpiece like When it rolls out from factory👍👏40 years ago. Think need à long time for refurbished. Swiss law for airworthyness are hard.
Que lindo avion! Es increible que sea de los '50s.
correción: el IIIC es del 1965 por ahi. el IIIE es del fin de los 60 y el 5 es de los 70. Saludos!
Amazing jet display loud flight but cool 👍
