Not the best day today.
The Boeing 747-8 A7-HHE was actually supposed to take off, but a problem shortly before takeoff prevented it from taking off. There were also problems with the AZAL Airbus A340-600, but with my camera, not with the plane.

After some time without special air traffic, a Polish Casa C-295 arrived today. Unfortunately, neither I nor the camera were concentrating on what we were doing. The worst shots of the year ;-P The plane came from Poznan, stayed in Basel for an hour and then flew to Krakow. The reason for the visit is not clear to me.

Another windy afternoon at the EAP. The reason for my visit was the Air Anka Airbus A330-300. Air Anka initially flew with Airbus A330-200 as seen in a previous video, but a few days ago they switched to the larger A330-300 to bring people back from vacation. Since the vacation is over, the plane flew empty to Frankfurt.

For the first time, an Air Anka Airbus A330-200 landed in Basel today. Air Anka will be operating several flights to Antalya from Basel during the autumn holidays. Due to a problem in Zurich, four unexpected landings were made from Zurich to Basel. At the end of the day, unfortunately a little too late, there was a super-soft landing of the Boeing 747-8 A7-HHE.

After a long absence, I made it to the airport again today. Last month there were very few specials and they all flew while I was at work.
