- Steven Bowman told 8 News Now he dodged death on Thursday evening after police said a man who had just been fired by his employer drove an SUV through neighborhood sidewalks and streets. Police responded to reports of a driver attempting to run over a pedestrian near Charleston and Decatur Thursday evening around 6:30 p.m. That pedestrian just fired the driver from his job, according to LVMPD Homicide Lieutenant Jason Johansson.

I’m born and raised is Las Vegas and I’m 53 years old. Welcome to my hometown that has turned into a scene out of Mad Max. I lived in Las Vegas all my life. My family roots are here but for the last 2 years I’ve been seriously thinking about leaving Vegas for good. It’s just not the not same place anymore.
I bet the last 10 to 15 years have been bad. I've been here 3 years it's chaotic. It has a lot to do with the heat. Just not easy to get comfortable here. A lot of the LA people aren't helping out either. I'm from LA but I didn't bring LA to you. I think a lot of the people do that. I stay in the south!!! Crazy peeps!!!

Went to Vegas recently to hit the pool and gamble, took two dog friendly hikes and I could not believe the amount of dog poop laying around on both trails. I travel and hike all around the USA and these two trails were by far the most disgusting EVER. It was very unsanitary , smelly as well. The dog owners that do not pick up after their dogs are GHETTO and seems to be a large majority there
that don’t pick up after their dogs.
FYI: Dog poop can spread disease to other dogs, if we all just do the basic minimum and pick our dogs poop up it keeps all dogs safer and healthier.

So there's no mention of how the driver died. The woman mentions a shotgun, but then the story just fizzles out with the most important part left out. WTF?!

The media usually doesn't cover defensive use of guns or they downplay it. It doesn't fit their narrative, even though there are 3 to 4 times more defensive shootings than there are criminal shootings in america. Can't talk about that though because you know... gunz r bayad.
