Bargains galore. Don’t know how anyone can sell a kid something they know is broken and will end in tears. Glad it was actually an easy fix and the disappointment didn’t last long, good Job Ian. Bargains galore as well.
My mum took me to buy and sell at carboots often from the age of about 5 ❤ happy memories and which without I probably wouldn't go to them, precious memories, enjoy them mate 👍
Quality find by your boy 👏🏻 😊 , he’s got his Dads eye for a bargain for sure , nicely fixed too MOP, I wouldn’t have a clue me , bits would be flying all around the gaff 😂
its amazing what they find... and actually if its something they're attracted too then usually others will be too. he's learning quick. tell you what those small screws have a mind of there own!
Crazy, crazy finds again, I don't know how you remain so calm even after you've told us about the items ha ha. I would be buzzing 🤩😂. So many great pieces.
lovely video that fella, warmed my heart that you managed to fix the Switch. Bet your nipper was buzzing and a great story for him to tell his friends that he found a Switch for a tenner. He’ll remember that always ❤ definately a good idea to take a kiddie to a boot sale/jumble trail with you though as I can imagine they win the vendors over and get you a cheaper price at times 😂
oh im sure that some sellers give us a good deal because he's there definitely. Most of the stuff i buy though is already under a fiver so doubt they knock it down too much
I love how u cut to what happened with each item after u just brought it wish more ppl would do this it’s great love the vids keep it up ! Mayb a room tour !
With the saxophone it may be worth looking at the brand of mouthpiece and reeds. Some of them are worth some money. I sold my old mouthpiece for over £200 but it does depend on the brand
A tip for changing the joystick on the Joy-Con: You might see all the ribbon cables and think you need to remove them, but you only need to remove the battery. You can leave the ribbon cables connected and simply move the middle plastic frame out of the way, rather than disconnecting it, as it can be a pain to reconnect.
yeah i've opened it up already and lifted the battery and casing out. I love the fact theres no soldering and the ribbons just slot in. Its getting all the ribbons back in without pinching them on anything is the tricky bit
What a great switch story. I’m happier fixing a crappy digital camera than finding a working one ☺️ there’s something about being able to save stuff from the bin
@@MasterofPieces exactly man, the joy con is super easy also was gonna say you can get them for like £3 and the fix is simple done it a few times :) Great find for your lad!
@MasterofPieces Do it daily like me. See if you can handle it 😂. Might make a good video seeing if it's worth it in growth and earnings compared to your usual amount.

Great stuff. Loved that your son found that bargain Switch and that you were able to fix it. Reselling is great but that's priceless.

Great trail! Miles more successful than my last one
yeah where did you go? I find if you haven't got anything off the first 2 tables you're likely not going to get anything
@@MasterofPieces was just a local village near to where I live, 20ish houses but only bought from 3 🤦🏼♂️ win some, you lose some

Great save on that Switch.
I love opening bits like that up and having a tinker. nothing to lose by looking
I was expecting you to say I sold it as spares and repairs but great work repairing the Switch for your lad 👍
yeah if it didnt work that would have gone straight into spares/repairs

Yeah after a few I just found it easier to just move everything to the side rather than removing all the ribbons
I picked up some cracking bits this weekend from two yard sales
love to hear it Armzee... they're great
What a great switch story. I’m happier fixing a crappy digital camera than finding a working one ☺️ there’s something about being able to save stuff from the bin
digital cameras is next level... everything is so small in there. it might take a lot of time but the satisfaction is worth it.
Love that! Good work on the switch was gonna say it bet it’s an easy fix :)
just about opening it up and giving it a go, literally nothing to lose

Good for your son my 👍
My boy bought an Xbox 1 at the boot sale and now buying games to trade into CEX to get a new controller for it
love to hear it. I remember trading into my local game shop when I was younger... its great that CeX still provides that opportunity!
You do seem quite handy with these electronics games. I’ve seen you sort out a few gameboys in the past
Great video mate
cheers stephen
