Thank you so much for the video. I'm doing a reno right now and have to marry into old existing copper pipes but I have heard about the Sharkbite and didn't know what else to do. The old lines coming up are further apart and I need to change the placement of the valve. But if I cut properly and use the 90 degree sharkbites from the existing copper then extend with pex to the center valve and feed pex for the shower head and spout I think it'll work great. This Sharkbite stuff is amazing. Reno application %100
@@wilcoxtactical3716 Every fitting will leak overtime. I know shark bites are the "new" fittings in the industry. Could it be possible that plumbers are just doing it the way they have always done it? Do Sharkbites meet the latest IRC code for in wall installment? I haven't had the time to look it up. Thanks in advance.
Is it better to run copper to shower head for full flow since Pex B has a reduced diameter or at least run 3/4 Pex to it, those brackets seem kind of flimsy
This could be a great video if the guy holding the camera would be still. All the zooming in and out made it really hard to watch. Not making a movie here guys.
Best install video I have seen. Plane to do mine next weekend. Remodeling my 40 year old bathroom.
I like the way you explain things. Simple and to the point and you repeat it twice so there's no question. Thank you teacher.

The debur tool also provides the 1 inch required depth you kept measuring.
You da man, thanks brother. Heading out now to help my parents out!
the deburring tool also shows you where to make the 1" mark!
Thank you for explaining it . Wish the guy I worked with can be like you sharing the info .
Thank you, great video
The sharkbite deburring tool is also a depth gauge for the fitting…
Video brought to you by Sarkbite.
Good work master 🤝
I always throw one or two in a suitcase. Most hotels have hot water, so they are something quick and filling at a hotel when you are tired
Excellent. Thanx saved me hours of mistakes.
Great video why do some some plumber hate on sharkbite inside walls? Is there any downside to using shark bites over regular pex connectors?
They can leak. No professional plumber would use sharkbites in a wall. If you want to avoid soldering use crimping.

I need to learn plumbing

Does those plastic flex water hose pipe last long as the copper pipe? this always worry me :)
You need a new phillips bit on that drill.
Did we save any installation money for using Shark insted copper..?
They expensive and don’t last long
Thanks
He reminds me a bit of Colt from the Fall Guy
Please tell me he is using appropriate quality screws and not drywall screws.
I was counting on seeing black teflon tape on the shower head arm 🤔
Dont use black steel nipples.that water will be rusty when you remove it after tile is done and you go to install the trim
You may need to watch a how-to video for tile work. That tile looks absolutely terrible. I'd make you rip it out and replace all of it.
Shark bites ? For real? And you claim to be a plumber Andy?
Yea we use em every day
Floor holes are cut too close to the edge. If you would have cut it 1 1/2 inches back, you would not have to add a nail plate
I wrap tape in opposite directions of tightening I believe you mislead us
Tell the camera guy do not move to much
I’ve had shark bites in my upstairs tub shower for over 15 years. Just saying.
Shark bite wtf
Camera . Why zoom in and out too much
This could be a great video if the guy holding the camera would be still. All the zooming in and out made it really hard to watch. Not making a movie here guys.
Yeah you made it simple thanks
Not to your camera person, please. Quit moving the camera around so quickly; it makes it hard to see and follow.
You trust those shark bites in the wall you need to go see your doctor
I used SB that have lasted about 13 years with no leaks. I have since learned to flux copper but still like SB
These sharkbite cost about $25 per piece, yet they are known to leak. Make no sense!
Nope ,,,, not with shark bites
Access Panels Matter
Access panels seem like a good idea but not commonly used-
Real plumbers don't use shark bites.
Those are temporary emergency fittings. I would fire any plumber who would try to install them.
YOUR FIRED.
You're.
