When my dad operated the Cat 245b back in Oregon. That machine had a 4 or 5 yard bucket and it took about 5 or 6 buckets to fill the Euclid off-road truck. When dad operated the Bucyrus Erie 88b shovel front, about 3 buckets would fill a Euclid truck. This video brings back memories as a kid.
we don't use mats a lot but we have them (somewhere) on the lot when we need them........... but we have a squeegee and window cleaner in every piece of equipment
Come on crash lighting ⚡ !! It doesn't look that cold 🥶 in that truck lolol 🤣 come on DP give the guy some heat!!🔥 He does do a great job tailgating the gravel!! Have a great day lighting!! ⚡
guess we find out today if Hyundai main drives are sealed for submersion in water? And I've decided it's easier to work with the Capt then MBTS but the damage is less with MBTS
Dirt Perfect sir, the pond turned out to look very good. hope there is some memorable fishing session's to be had around that body of water. it's 20C inside here in London England UK. and i am quite happy spring's progression so far.
More dredging, more rocks, more mudslinging and water splashing! Aaron taking several for the team with those great closeup shots! Mike's new boat ramp and shallow water way gets a thumbs up for the DP Crew! The dragline is need of more speed, if possible. But the old school cruise control sure makes it easier on the operator! 🤣🤣 Definitely need to get it back to its "spot" so Old Glory can fly high and proud for Derby, Indiana! Good to see "Crash" putting in work with the dump truck!
I've just watched this video one of the best great tidy up of this old quarry the volvo definitely doesn't need tailgate please be careful with drag line my late mother cousin was killed in a drag line the top was near above power lines tenable loss any way catch up soon take care micky
Mike, random idea; maybe putting some weld-lines on the tracks of the dragline will help a lot with traction. It is not much, but infinitely more than now. Simple, low cost and effective.
Allot of locations in Canada give the road millings away cause they are not permitted to reuse them on the roads again as they don't seem to join together as they are supposed to do after they are milled up.
Well Mike you guys aren't the only ones dealing with cold weather, here in eastern Oregon it's been colder than usual, when is summer ever gonna get here?" 🙃
Howdy Mr. Dirt, The 'new' and improved fishing hole turned out quite nice! You guys did a great job! Hopefully your next job won't have any mud puddles! Thumbs up! Stay safe. Jim
That old drag line is like a mechanical dinosaur. During operation nothing but levers flinging and cables swinging. You guys did a nice cleanup operation in the pond. Thanks for the video
On the job we would zip tie a zip tie to the drive shaft of our co worker drive shaft lolol it spinning hitting off the floor board would drive them insane lmao 🤣😂
enjoyed the video, Mike, Aaron's choice to leave the ress was a good one BTW. You really NEED to get some heaters fixed, repaired or installed in your equiptment!. For a few minutes, while the 120 was in the water, thought she was gonna go in completely since the weaight on the back was swining in the water. Glad you didn't go for a swim. LOVE LOVE LOVE that Drag line, and so happy to see videos of her and you able to use her, instead of her just collecting dust.
Nice job gentlemen, looks like the owner was quite pleased with the results of all the hard work. I have had the displeasure of smelling that type of slurry/mud, it is disgusting to say the least, thanks for the update, enjoyed watching.
Love your videos watching the work you do and the fun and jokes that go along with the video. You and Aaron make a great team plus now you have Crash. Thanks for the video
Sub'd a bit ago and have had some late night entertainment for sure. Mike, Aaron and your company work well together, seem to have a good time poking fun at yourselves and have a great work ethic. Thank you from Canada.
I have no idea, but I would bet tile plowing is probably better for the bottom line, BUT I sure enjoy seeing you two building a lake. I could watch plenty of those and would love to see DP tackle a good size lake from dream to fishing! First Aaron repairing his Dad's pond, now DP adding to this lake. But I mean a piece of ground that needs a dam built with further excavating and lakecaping. You know, 20-50 acres!!! Or more. lol. 👍 👍 👍 👍 👍
🇮🇪☘️🇺🇸 Evenin gents Ty you Aaron for speaking up for the Ents 🌲🌳.. I’m sure they’ve returned the favor. As for that smell- I’m wondering if it’s not methane you’re smelling. Plz b careful blessings 🌹🙏🏼
What's up folks? Over 3000 of you watched this video but only 600 of you hit the like button! Come on guys, when you watch the video hit the like button! It only takes a second and helps Mike out tremendously. Like DP says, hit like and subscribe. It isn't hard to do. Support him so you can see more antics with him and Aaron. Thanks for reading my personal rant.
@@dennisreed3382if they don’t like it, they should work on their taste in content providers. I’ve said it before, mikes channel is better than anything Hollywood puts out. I don’t even work in dirt moving jobs, and I’ve learned a lot from him and MBTS.
Water is really hard on final drives and rollers. This could be very costly. You have a better chance when the rollers and idlers are cool to not take in water big Ed coming to you from Central City Kentucky. Have a great day Mike and Aaron.
The grinding of metal against rock, the plop of nasty swamp mud and the splashing of many hundreds of gallons of brown water...topped it all off with an epic run (?) back to home base with the old Bucyrus. Life is good.
Good ole Bubber Dump was sitting on a few rocks back there. 5:15/57:40 i bet he was reading off a few of the scriptures during the waiting times.? i was just thinking that you could have a double as well as a fishing pond it could bring in ducks too.? 👈👺👀👀👍
Always check the inside of dryers for money, rings, necklaces, ect... Before u scrap them, i have found alot of jewlery, $1,$5, i found a $100 bill once, and the record i have is $17.87 in change alone, dryers pay off like slot machenes
Great video, all that work on the pond so the owner can go fishing, must be nice.just keep on doing what y’all do best, beside making your subscribers crack up.on to the next.😎😎😎👍👍👍
Man behind the scenes decision to leave the trees was the right decision I have to agree with him
Cedar trees are just mosquito bushes.
@@Crewsy- cedars are well know natural bug repellents…🤨
Should have painted 'em though. ;-)
@@CrewsyWhy are they mosquito bushes? I know mosquitoes like standing water and Tall Grass
@@billvandorn5332
Next time you’re near one give it a shake. Cedars are hiding places for mosquitoes.
I’m really impressed with the Bluetooth driver mode for the old dragline. Nice to see old technology working with new technology!!
And the antics continue for the dirty duo lol, best show around enjoy!!😄😄😄
Dirty Duo!! 😂
That huge rock worked perfect to cover that hole and made a perfect addition between those two cedar trees.

Another great video! The Ole Dragline sure gives us all a real appreciation for hydraulics!
Great job! I am so glad we don't have smellavision!!😂
Thanks for sharing 👍 😊 A very nice pond! Poor drag line! 😢 Driving it self.
I was thinking the same thing foolishly thinking that I wished I had smell-o-vision and then I realized no, that's a mistake
The Captain could have made two trucks with that pile of metal , lol .
That piece of land sure has changed over the years! Great spot for a private fishing hole. You and Aaron are sure fun to hangout with😉
The Dirt Perfect Naval Division.
Good morning DP and mbts .. another great video and coffee ☕🌞✌🏻💯💚🌱⚡💨💨
good evening from down under Mike and Aaron i just love that old drag line thanks for another great video guys
The Mud Brothers and the Dragline live to star again.
Next episode, The Revenge of Gunner!
we don't use mats a lot but we have them (somewhere) on the lot when we need them........... but we have a squeegee and window cleaner in every piece of equipment
With DP slinging mud and Gunner waiting for revenge I think Aaron is in trouble 😅😅
I have a feeling that Gunner's revenge will have a lot of input and help from DP.🤣
Come on crash lighting ⚡ !! It doesn't look that cold 🥶 in that truck lolol 🤣 come on DP give the guy some heat!!🔥 He does do a great job tailgating the gravel!! Have a great day lighting!! ⚡
Another great video from this project guys and good to see the dragline given a run too bro. Safe travels. Ken.

When it dries out sort the rocks out and that makes great topsoil. What I did when I dredged my lake out.
Very enjoyable video. It is nice seeing the old quarry getting gussied up.
Thanks
Another enjoyable job to watch. Sad, I have to wait for the next video.
That follow me feature on the dragline is pretty awesome! 😂

And if your sweating your working to hard.
Good morning DP and Aaron

Don't worry Crash...that heater will be operational just in time for summer.
I think after this job Aaron should have to power wash the 210, and detail the cab
Absolutely! Payback for Gunnar’s room! Lol
Just watch your chance for the 120 and super-stick. So funny when Aaron acts like the boss. We all know who it is really.
I think he got the big head from being home alone! Lol!
Cold morning!berrrrr!! Coffees on!Here we go! Cheers!;-)!!

Thought we'd see MBTS get run over by the Henry the Crane!😛 Good closeup shots though. good video👌👍
Another great video, always a pleasure watch your project with the dream team 👍👍👍👍
Crash needs to file a complaint with the maintenance dept.
Going to be a nice fishing hole this summer. Maybe even a good swimming hole. Great Job as usual and tell Aaron to keep up the good work!
SIMPLE!
WATCH VIDEO,
SMASH LIKE BUTTON EVERY TIME!
Thanks
Good morning from Siesta Key Florida
The drag line tracks nice and straight!
Be very careful with your excavator, 15 full counter-clockwise rotations, and it'll unscrew itself from the tracks.
That was fun, stinky fun. You guys keep it lite with laughter.
Looks like Bubba Dump has the runs
