Back in these years I was into that sound... the first 3 Albums are outstanding. I will never forget the day when I got the Blood & Thunder vinyl coming back from school.. ordered at Static Age mailorder.. great years and music.
This is so nice Music. I see me and my Friends in 1990 play AD&D 1first edition pen and paper!!! OMG i miss this time sooooo much. and now i am 46years. bUT NEVER FORGET MY RULES-lOVE DUNGEON mUSIC
Mortiis used to be so awesome. I remember listening to this stuff when I was about 13 and it was the most mysterious otherwordly thing. It's a shame I never got to see any era 1 stuff played live, too young for that, I just got The Smell of Rain tours. I never really liked any of the albums after that so much.
Iskalla I met him in 1998 and tell you he was a very cool person, dont look at all as on the pictures with his long nose and ears. It was already not more the early days but still memorable. Now its sucks totaly, I m very disapointed, but anyway. the old stuff is.... the spirit of black metal then...
This stuff was never meant to be played live. I have just attended his era 1 live show and it's only a small glimpse of the greatness what you feel while listening to the impeccable studio recording, sitting in your dark room at lonely and cold november night. But I showed up anyway to support the guy, who I've been appreciating for 16 years.
@@fernaldpaperguest4646 If you want to try the version he's performing at the moment live, with quite proper sound in your dark room or whatever, here's a good version of it ua-cam.com/video/jU_dCsnLjRU/v-deo.html It's there in th end of the video... Probably doesn't beat the old nostalgia, but it's a new experience anyway... :)
I see over there dark woods. And I hear sad voices cry. I see the future's black shadows, Dance before my eyes. I hear the emptiness in the wolfs hunting howl. And feel myself drawned - to the unknown Up there I see a sad world. I see a dark horizon.
Medieval... Magical! I go to sleep listening to his instrumental's

I see over there dark woods.
And I hear sad voices cry.
I see the future's black shadows,
Dance before my eyes.
I hear the emptiness in the wolfs hunting howl.
And feel myself drawned - to the unknown
Up there
I see a sad world.
I see a dark horizon.

Music is meant to be enjoyed drug free. Why do you feel the need to take drugs?
You can actually enjoy music in what ever way you want. Even though I stop doing drugs 4 years ago, Even no alcohol anymore.
