I’ve been following your channel for a while (mostly for Star Wars and assassins creed, but I stick around to listen to most of your projects) but when I saw that you made a Skyrim video, I instantly knew it was gonna be great. Not to mention you got Colm R. McGuiness to work with you! I love him too! I have a bunch of sea shanties sung by him on my Apple Music playlist. Honestly, you need to get yourself in hollywood, or working on game music of your own, because damn are you good at making every song give me chills. What an epic 10 year journey, and now we must survive once again in the wilderness of Skyrim, be we go in as Kings to lead a new generation of Dragonborn.
I haven't played skyrim for so long. But I can never stop listening to this song. This cover was absolutely perfect. I felt like I was back fighting dragons with my army of the undead.
I got sad listening to this, because I had 3 playthroughs that never defeated Alduin... 1. It got deleted by accident 2. It didn't work any more... 3. Again, deleted by accident So I started a new playthrough to defeat all the evil in Skyrim for these 3 heros that never got to fulfill their destiny. It's even sadder the fact that number 2 stopped working on the way to the final battle against Alduin..
Worry not thy brother for like gangsta says three dovahkiins might are within you for you will not only slay Alduin but annihilate the dragons purge them with all the might that you can muster.
I keep imagining this song as a call to all dragonborns. Imagine you a dragonborne in a cliff see thousands of dragons not far away and aiming to destroy skyrim, your outnumbered but you sing the song and 1:46 hits behind the clouds you hear shouts of chants and there you see hundreds of flying viking ships and in them are all the dragonbornes in history ready to fight the enemy of all dragonborn
Chills down my spine and tears in my eyes. It’s not often a song can do that to me, but hearing this felt like the culmination of all the years I’ve spent in the game and all the excitement and wonder it’s brought and continues to bring to me to this day! 🥹👏👏👏
I was creating my own novel journey of tamriel. A main character named eve enters dragonborn's grave and saw the walls of what dragonborn had done. Killed alduin, taught by greybeards, and then the dragonborn on top of people praying for him. Then brings flashbacks of him. This song fits for my part. It gave me tears.
Idk if you’ll ever see this comment but I just wanted to let you know that I’ve been motivated and pushed in so many workouts with your arrangements :D The rengoku themes are especially powerful, but this one is going in my PR playlist for sure
I played skyrim for the first time when I was 4 years old... Then I played it in 2017... And now, I returned to this masterpice in 2023. This game made my harsh times better. If you find the time, you should think about doing the Transformer Prime theme. As epic and inspiring as it already is, I’d very much like to hear your take on it.
Good idea, I loved that show
no fucking wayyy out of all covers you picked colms cover, thats in my opinion by far the best out thereee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Starfield is amazing, but the mountains and ruins of Skyrim will always be home
Amen to that brother or sister
I agree
if you ever want to listen to this song on repeat (if you are on PC) right click the video itself and then click on loop, youtube will automatically loop it
Finally!!!!! I was waiting for you to make a Skyrim cover and I have to say its so much cooler than i would ever think!!! I LOVE IT! GREAT JOB, especially the second half, got chills my dude
"Men only want one thing"
YES, THIS, I WANT THIS! Epic cover gave me goosebumps all over.
Both the music and the vocals are amazing. Great job to you both for such a masterpiece!
When you finally get to the Cloud District:
I got sad listening to this, because I had 3 playthroughs that never defeated Alduin...
1. It got deleted by accident
2. It didn't work any more...
3. Again, deleted by accident
So I started a new playthrough to defeat all the evil in Skyrim for these 3 heros that never got to fulfill their destiny.
It's even sadder the fact that number 2 stopped working on the way to the final battle against Alduin..
That new playthrough is accompanied by the spirits of your 3 previous dovahkiins. Slay Alduin for them!
Worry not thy brother for like gangsta says three dovahkiins might are within you for you will not only slay Alduin but annihilate the dragons purge them with all the might that you can muster.
use sse engine fixes
What the original sounded like to us when we started Skyrim for the first time ever and just sat there in the main menu, listening to it
I keep imagining this song as a call to all dragonborns.
Ok but if there's ever a Skyrim movie, this would definitely be in the trailer.
Memories flood back as you hear Alduin’s roar
Chills down my spine and tears in my eyes. It’s not often a song can do that to me, but hearing this felt like the culmination of all the years I’ve spent in the game and all the excitement and wonder it’s brought and continues to bring to me to this day! 🥹👏👏👏
I was creating my own novel journey of tamriel. A main character named eve enters dragonborn's grave and saw the walls of what dragonborn had done. Killed alduin, taught by greybeards, and then the dragonborn on top of people praying for him. Then brings flashbacks of him. This song fits for my part. It gave me tears.
Idk if you’ll ever see this comment but I just wanted to let you know that I’ve been motivated and pushed in so many workouts with your arrangements :D
The rengoku themes are especially powerful, but this one is going in my PR playlist for sure
I played skyrim for the first time when I was 4 years old... Then I played it in 2017... And now, I returned to this masterpice in 2023. This game made my harsh times better. Even thou I hate you Todd, I love what you made... Thank you bethesda, thank you internet. And of course - thanks Dad, a person who showed me gaming...
01:50 literal goosebumps 🔥🔥
How can someone not love this?
Never has my nostalgia felt so epic! Fantastic job from both of you good sirs!
Bro i think fleeting joy epic version/intense version would be insane.
