It's a good game. I'm very biased from Boneworks, but i still don't see any other game coming close to boneworks or bonelab when it comes to full physics simulation. It has its quirks, but honestly, if you can learn them, they become assets to the game. Purposeless Rabbitholes video review on Boneworks does a great job at explaining why Boneworks and the marrow engine are revolutionary for VR. What other VR game let's you judo throw an enemy with your body, throw them into another enemy, then cap them both in the head. I remember learning that i could use slowmo in combination with IRL movement to zip past enemies and increase the fluidity of my movement as a whole. My only problem with Bonelab is Minedive. I can't belive I'm saying this about my favorite game but i wish there was a skip button for that level. Not for motion sickness. Thankfully i don't experience that at all, but i just can't see the justification for sitting in a cart for 5+ mins doing basically nothing. Give me a skip button or let me run through minedive on foot. I'd love a long Parkor section jumping from railroad tie to railroad tie.
The physics engine is a really good pro for the game. I also agree that minedive should have some alternate way to beat it. I mean the go kart level can be beaten on foot, why not the minecart one? Really weird choice
I’m going to try that movement technique right now thank you for the idea!! The only problem i have with the game is that i got it yesterday and beat it in sub 5 hours even with looking for secrets my first play through so now I’m just learning new stuff to do now 😂 adding i really only played vrchat and beat saber before and have learned i have great vr legs through bonelabs
