Has anyone of you read the books and know the analysis behind it, because Peter Pan is one of those movies that takes me back to my childhood. He is like the protagonist/antagonist of his own story.

I have watched a lot of dark sides of children fairytales, and I think even without it, I will still realize how dark and creepy the story is.
It's important to remember that Peter is locked into the body of a child, the body affects the mind. Children can be extremely cruel because to they are very selfish being who has yet to learn empathy and taking responsibility for their own actions, this can be treated through guidance from parents but peter never had any hence causing him to be a being who lives outside the moral grounds of society. His actions come of predatory because he is basically a hurt wild animal getting back at a society that failed him. And he does so by taking away children.
