The best version of all. The chemistry you will never see in the 2023’s Disney version. The effects, the acting, a dreamy and magical Neverland, the outstand soundtrack... this version is better than 2023's in ALL aspects.
I think what Disney was aiming for is that Wendy doesn't need Peter Pan. It makes no sense if they called it Peter Pan and Wendy instead of just Wendy. I would have preferred their honesty at least.
Well do I like Peter Pan and Wendy even I think romance between Peter Pan and Wendy is does better in Peter Pan 2003 But in defense of the 2023 Peter Pan and Wendy it was not trying to be romantic it trying focus on characters like Peter pan and Wendy and Captain Hook order in that film

Of all the Peter Pan adaptations I’ve seen, this has been probably the best one. Music, themes, acting and probably the best love story between Wendy and Peter and my favourite Hook

The one flaw is that Peter is played by an American.
Even as an adult I remember this movie was magical. It stuck to the original, the lighting, the mood was so dreamlike. The actors expression was so animated. Disney remakes been going downhill.

after the disappearance of fiona,the fairies return see peter malcom for him give his son and they him explained to what happened to at Fiona,and his father decides to raise his son for so that he to become a hero and him gives the name of rumpelstiltskin so that one day he would scare the darkness.and one day, when he was small, rumpelstiltskin fell seriously ill and his father decides to do everything to save him and he meets a witch (which is called pan) which comes from the neverland (who is the guardian) and she tells him that she can save her son by sacrificing herself to save him,but in exchange malcolm must take his place as the guardian of the neverland and he accepts,and when his son is saved malcolm asked two women peasant to take care of his son,and pan takes him to neverland and him back his youth childhood and die,and malcolm is chose a new name peter pan (in tribute to the witch who saved her son)
And here now after than the family of wendy is accepted baelfire
after than the family darling is accepted baelfire, they spend a day in a park where he watches a puppet show,and when they leave the park for go home, they are assaulted by a thief who tries to steal the jewelry of Mrs darling, and mr darling tries to save his family but him and his wife are killed under the eyes horrified of their children, and a few days of later (so than baelfire learns that he and the kids darling go may be living in an orphanage) ,Wendy him talks of peter pan,And when peter comes to see wendy and his brothers he tells at bealfire that he is on the good side of the magic,And take them to neverland ,(Or they also encounter the lost boys) And they live happily and live full of adventure against the captain hook (during 1 century), And one day hook discovers that he has a serious illness and goes to see a bad witch who gives him the power to change body, and one day, he holds An ambush to peter pan, wendy and his brothers and bealfire,and Thanks to the power given to by the witch, Exchange his body with peter pan And with a harico magic, hook sends bealfire and the brothers of wendy in our world, And made of wendy his hostage and sends peter pan (who is in his body) into the enchanted forest and made of neverland his new world

That’s from the book too! JM Barrie wrote something along the lines of: “Wendy made herself rather cheap by extending her face towards Peter…” or something like. It was funny and cute in the book, and they played it perfectly in the show! 😂😂

For me, this love story alone, is what makes this movie superior to the Disney version. "Peter Pan and Wendy 2023" has some big shoes to fill.

I think they gave a lot of drama and story, however it seems like missing something to make me feel in the scene like Peter Pan from 2004. I don't know and I didn't like peter pan acting, it was always the same faces. I didnt feel like he was showing some feeling

I love it. One of my favorite parts of Peter Pan is the fairies dancing in the tree while the music played a lovely melody and Peter danced in the air with Wendy. Peter Pan, Wendy Moira Angela Darling, John Darling, Michael Darling, Tinker Bell, Captain James Hook, Mr. Smee, Pirates, Tootles, Slightly, Curly, Nibs, Twins, Fairies, Chief Great Big Little Panther, Tiger Lily, Native Americans, George Darling, Mary Darling, Liza, Nana, Crocodile. Neverland, where you will never grow up or grow old. Stay forever young and believe in fairies.
This was the best Peter Pan live action for me. The music, story, cast and the chemistry between Peter and Wendy (Jeremy and Rachel are perfect) its wonderful. They didnt stray off the kids movie feeling but had the romance themes work well too. And I love Jason Isaacs as hook, more than Jude Law's.

@@soixsantes I'm assuming it has to do with the fact that Peter Pan is both scared of growing up and scared of being away from Wendy. He doesn't want his shoes to be filled by someone else who will be her husband in the future, but his destiny will forever lie in Neverland; her destiny lies in London. It's very sad because they love each other but they can never truly be together :(
This instantly put a smile on my face. Coming here after watching the horrid 2023 trailer. Look at them! look at their chemistry :( this version will forever stay superior!
I just now realised something. In the scene where Peter and Wendy fly and dance then come back down and argue, I don't know if it's because they shot this scene in 2 parts a long time appart or if they used CGI, but when Wendy and Peter are in the air they look older, like 14-15years old (Peter even SOUND older like his voice is going through puberty) then when he gets mad at her for implying that he might be in love, which he views as an adult thing, he suddenly looks AND sound 12year old again.

This peter pan was my 1st ever crush in a movie❤
I showed this movie to my niece a few weeks ago, watching the film, it was the quietest I've ever known her to be. She adored this movie and its magic. It was such a nice feeling being able to share with her something from my childhood 💜
That scene was so emotional, I just loved it. She became one of my celebrity crushes when i was little.
