I was fortunate to have attended this event and many more with Coach Driesell- he was a wonderful person and today he left us to join his lovely wife in Heaven. God bless him and his family.
I'm from Raleigh N.C. born and raised on "tobacco road" but I became a die hard Terps fan just for the simple fact the left hander made watching ACC basketball exciting he was original gave the conference ALOT of class!!!
Duke fan here. Lefty is a legend. The Amen chorus is one of the iconic scenes in basketball, even as I often hated it.....at the time. RIP Coach.

Never been a conference like the ACC from early 70s thru early 90s.......Lefty a big part of a lot of that...
