This song makes me think of him and always reminds me that he's forever with me! It's a beautiful song that touches me deeply every time I hear it!

My niece has been gone for 2 years now and the pain from not having her around anymore gets to me every now and then but every time I listen to this song it eases the pain a little because I find comfort in the lyrics cause even though she's not her with my in human life form she'll always be with my spiritually. I guess the reason why vertical horizon is one of my al time favorite bands is because they make songs I can relate to in some way and whether they're together or broken up I will always be grateful to them for making wonderful and amazing song that helps me get through tough times in my life. And that's why I'll be a vertical horizon fan forever.

This is one of my favorite songs from what is fast becoming my favorite band. The new record, "Burning the Days" is truly incredible from start to finish. i love how they can do great ballads and intense rock songs. Something for every mood. Even though this song is incredibly sad, it is also very hopeful.
