Man, you don’t realise how long I’ve been trying to learn how to improvise solo’s in pentatonic boxes, the way teachers on YT describe it hurts my brain but the one teacher who described it in laments terms and simply as possible has finally made learning guitar fun.
When I finally figured it out the first place I came was here, just randomly typed in D Key soft rock backing track and took it from there, I still sound like shit but my notes actually fit the music no matter where I went so long as I was in the D Minor scale, to some that might not be a big achievement but I’ve never been so proud of being able to play what I wanted.

have fun but don't limit yourself to pentatonic. they are great for hitting common chord roots in the key dont fall into the trap of being comfortable staying that box. using less notes, like a triad, but then also following the chord changes will have you in a better spot feeling out the context. try this - Dmin D-F-E, FMaj F-E-C, CMaj C-E-G, BbMaj Bb-D-F. Once you get that try adding in 7ths. Some really nice and important 7ths are not always represented in the pentatonic and going about it this way will allow you to hear/feel when they can be used effectively. TLDR: follow the chords not the scale

To play this and notice 34 DISlikes just reinforces my idea that dislikes should require a reasonable explanation. People won't LIKE a video impulsively; likeability is generally sincere and practical. Reasons for DIS's could help in knowing the general standard of quality, room for improvement.

by the end of the year UA-cam deletes profiles that are considered fake. The same day '254 dislikes' were cancelled from my UA-cam page, but no likes were cancelled. Which means that some people creates accounts on purpose to troll people. What they do not understand is that the ratio between likes or dislikes doesn't really affect how a video ranks. They're wasting their time.

Nice backing track for practicing my handpan drum, which is in D minor. It's tough to find backing tracks that go well with metal percussion instruments because the sound tends to either drown out everything, or it sounds really off-key if the backing track is in a different key. I've had good luck with d minor guitar backing tracks. Big thanks for this!

Yes, you can upload on UA-cam or Facebook, no problem. The tracks are released though, so you can't use it to distribute music, only social media and YT.
