I've heard people say they don't like the watchdog design; that it looks unfinished. But those things are legit creepy, especially in the bottom of a crypt. I think they nailed the design.

Their visual design is very cool, but with this robotic-like moveset and behaviors they fit more to Lies of P than Elden Ring.

imagine the tombs were so dark you needed a lightsource to even navigate... and you would find those things... only barely visible, in nooks and crannies, activating only when you have passed them... flying up silently to smack you from behind... or turning a corner only to run straight into the face of one, sword raised, ready to strike, but not striking... until you turn around... having them pretend to be inactive only to spring to life suddenly, or drop down upon the player from previously unseen precipices and ledges.
A survival horror, especially good with the confusing tomb design, like the one in Leyndell catacombs ^_^

I must say Radagon marching forward as rennala ascends backwards and towards the sky to send aid in the form of the moon and stars is quite beautiful. The moment he charges forward she takes to the sky.

I do love how much more efficient and effective the glintstone dragons were than the ancient dragons. Turns out against enemies that very slowly hop toward you, just spamming breath attacks is the optimal solution.
