How did your mother get into this transcendent music, if you wouldn't mind sharing. So few people ever hear these beautiful sounds I tend to feel kinship with those that do.
@@zachalicea1987 I'm not really sure how she first came across New Age music back in the mid to late 80s. I'll have to ask her. It makes sense that she would like it though, because she really enjoyed bands like Crosby stills Nash & Young, Simon and Garfunkel, Dan Fogleberg and Fleetwood Mac, Moody blues etc...
I must admit, if it wasn't for the ease of access from platforms like UA-cam, I would be hard pressed to believe I would have encountered/been exposed to New Age music,, specifically here Bruce Becvar. So it is very intriguing to me that your mom more than likely came upon it organically. Very cool and says a lot about her energy that she attracted such beautiful sounds. Thanks for sharing; CSN and Fleetwood are among my favorite bands. Cool stuff
@@zachalicea1987 I asked her, and she told me that she first heard it in a spa in 1987. She inquired about what music she was hearing and was told it was new age music. Then she went to a music store and randomly picked this windham hill album out of the new age section. Talk about luck! This album and "Narada Lotus Guitar Works" both were playing in the background of my childhood. When I hear them, I kinda go off into a trance and relive memories from a distant past, from a world that doesn't exist anymore.
Nostalgia. My mom used to clean the house to this when I was 6 or 7.... 30 years ago.
