I like the videos on this game something different! A tip I found is to use the turbo button while attacking and it will increase attack speed.

Tip. To get a new charecter youll need the lowest amounts of bonus points so no streak, bc to get a new charecter you dont want to get the +1 because a new charecter is 0, if it makes sense.

Is it hard to get a new character? Cuz I see ur struggling to get a new character, and I am too. Is buying the new character with a bunch of coins the only method to get the new characters?
I think you unlock them by progressing rather than chests not 100% yet
