I disagree with the food one. As you said you need to put in the best fuel you can in order to perform at your best. There are many options nowadays and organic food has become a lot more affordable. Here in Italy sometimes you can even go directly to the farmers to buy your organic food and the price is lower.

The 1st one about being frugal with food. Took a personal finance course - twice - last year and this idea was recited to us many-many times that cutting down on food expenses at a cost of its quality is a poor decision. The rationale was different though and I personally was pleasantly surprised to hear your, Sorelle, take on this point. My rationale for not giving in to what people are saying about buying your own matcha and reusable cup in order to avoid places like Starbucks (yes, I use Starbucks and I've my own reasons) is that I want to go out and I want to be motivated to go out and at this point in my life - getting an oat milk matcha at Starbucks - serves the purpose. But if we put the whole - making your own beverage vs buying one - aside, food IS important. I became vegetarian last year and my reasons were related to the energies as opposed to the love for the animals (although I do love them and I spent a lot of time at my granny's farm growing up) and I firmly believe that what you put IN you is what you are able to give OUT in the end, whether it's food, information, energies or other things, we truly are what we eat/consume. Thanks for the video, Sorelle! And get well girl!

@Opressa Era oh, I liked 90% of your comment! "Money corrupts" however, is a view that's just going to hold you back from earning any! _Obsession_ with money is the root of many evils, because of using people and loving money. When instead you love people and use money, it does not matter how much money you have; you're still a decent person!

I love your point about food. I think one of the best rewards in life is eating better, healthier food (if you have the money). Sure, there are ways to cut back like making your own coffee vs going to Starbucks but eating good veggies, fruit, and better quality food all around is really healthy and enjoyable. I'd rather drive an older car, live in a smaller house, and take fewer vacations than *_eat crappy food for the rest of my life_* just to save a few dollars a day. And, I LOVE vacations. But, good food is more important.

Why does everyone say that healty food cost more? I m really confused here! When I make fresh vegetable soup, a meal costs me like 1.5$, vs McDonnalds where a meal would cost me 10$. All my friends who have high food expenses, it s because they either do fancy restaurants of because they spend it on unhealty stuff like drinking energy drinks all day long and ordering fastfood. This makes their average meal +- 7$ vs my average meal 2.5$ while my average meal is more healty then their. You do need at least basic cooking skills tho

I completely agree, plus a lot of the time (at least where I live) it's actually less expensive to eat a healthy whole foods diet. I'm sure that's not the case everywhere, but I think in a lot of cases the 'healthy food costs more' school of thought is a myth.

Stop it, just stop it. I have watched cancer take out some of the most healthy people I have known, I know 3 people with diabetes and all 3 of them are nutritionist and one of them does CrossFit. I had a friend who went vegan and a year later had a heart attack, at 29 do to a sever B12 deficiency (she recovered woundfully) My boss is a 4'11, 89 pound woman who has lived a extremely healthy lifestyle her whole life, so why did her kidneys all of a sudden stop working one day?. When sickness comes for you it does not care how much organic foods you eat, you will either suffer greatly and/or lose your life, it does not matter how you're eating. Bruce Lee was once considered one of the most healthiest man in the world when he was alive, and look at the brutal manner in which he went out, his deduction to health meant nothing, and severed him in no way when he needed it. Should people eat health? Of course ! However, let's stop telling people that doing so will help them fight off sickness and that eating a burger will make them sick.

Ok stop being so dramatic! So everyone you know that eats healthy has come down with a terrible illness and everyone you know that eats like crap is living their best lives huh?😒 Hard to believe. Facts if you only eat fast food and crap everyday you will most likely become overweight and down the line come down with a few illnesses also becoming vegan is not the healthiest thing in the world if you don't know what your doing and supplementing like your friend. People can get cancer from other factors too not just eating bad. Also crossfit is not that healthy just like bodybuilding isn't either smh. Those people actually put a lot of stress on their bodies, so again not great examples of the "healthiest" people. Of course don't become obsessed but you will definitely feel better and your body and mind will benefit from better food choices. Wait and you lost me at Bruce lee? What does dying from a bullet have to do with eating healthy? Lol we r all gonna die one day. But from your pov why even shower or take medicine for a headache or do anything for our bodies if we r just gonna die anyways? 🤦‍♀️🤣😭

So true. I think women care more about health than most men. There are so many things that these guys have been promoting that I totally disagreed with as well. So refreshing to hear you speak out about it. I’ve been hospitalized a couple times from over working and burning out. I had to learn the hard way to prioritize health. We also finally sold our house and moved out of NYC that was sinking our finances. We used to own 4 other properties and sold them all because they were more drains than good investments. So good to hear you talk about debt and that you understand all this at your young age. So many people haven’t figured this out even well into their 40’s, 50’s and beyond, and it just gets more complicated with kids. Thanks for sharing your perspective. Much needed!

Yeah, you could be right on the women vs men thing. I mean, statistically women are likely to outlive their male partners by up to a decade, and I think a lot of that comes down to work ethic, food choices, more rest, etc.

I can only really talk from a UK and Western Europe standpoint but honestly, ive always found eating healthy to be basically just as cost effective as the cheap crap I used to eat as a student. Where I'm at my mortgage is cheaper than renting a house, and at least that money is equity. But I hear you, if you plan to use the house as an asset it definitely can be. love this video esp about food. We (my wife and I btw she loves your channel!) place super importance on our foods. Our son is on the ASD spectrum, and if he has a packet of Quavers cheesy crisps.. or a J20 bottle of "juice" its really hard to get him to listen & focus. Conversely if he eats more veggies (he loves raw veggies like cucumber and carrot etc with houmous) his focus and concentration on EVERYTHING is multiplied.. he can read for hours or sit and create for so long or enjoy coding and maths - his energy and focus levels are through the roof.
The same happened for me - my wife has been a veggie for a long time now and for about a year through xmas 2019 we ditched all meat and processed foods. I noticed straight away my energy levels went through the roof... i went from struggling to walk through my wifes home town in Vinroma (Barcelona) to 5 days later hiking up two nearside mountains with my son on xmas day morning. it was like nothing i had ever experienced. We had to stop halfway up the 2nd because my 9 year old boy was shattered. I couldn't believe the difference.
I then spent the next year doing a mostly meat-free diet and concentrating on veggies more. I felt really good and energy levels went up to a point but found myself snacking on more sugars than i should have.
Today i eat meat again, but mainly a bit of chicken and mostly fish (my wife being from spain loves fish!) so thats mostly our diet now. Maybe 2-3 times a week... which is far far less than the 3 times a day i would always do. But i've found a new love for veggies that was dwindling more an more on a meaty diet. And if i keep the bread, cheese and sugars out my diet my strength and focus levels are bonkers. I do still like chocolate tho lol altho 70% choc is awesome stuff for getting a nibble without too much sugar.
Just a little anecdote i wanted to share lol

I agree with you about the food thing. So far the vast majority of the time when 'influencers' I follow show the meals they eat in a day, whether it's fitness channels or financial channels, I always find them so cringy and uninspiring. From the countless protein powders, supplements and absolute lack of fresh fruits and veggies (at least not in the amounts they should be consuming them if they cared about their health), to the penny pinching rich people who select food based purely on price regardless of if it's healthy, balanced or ethical (aka: if you're buying the absolute cheapest eggs you can find you can be pretty sure those laying hens have a horrible life). With that said I also don't agree that organic is necessarily as good as people think. I used to think organic meant no chemicals but that is not true, they still spray stuff on that food and that stuff can still be bad for the environment. Buying local, buying weird looking produce to reduce wastage, using farming techniques that don't destroy the soil and promoting biodiversity on the farm (as opposed to large monoculture, even if organic) so that pest control can be achieved in the most natural way possible are all way more important then debating about whether a large monoculture was sprayed with an organic vs. non-organic chemical, IMO.

I work full time in health and fitness and I really value eating well, but I also think that can be done on a fairly tight budget. $2 a meal is probably under shooting it, but I eat REALLY well (basically smoothies, eggs, fruit and veggies, meat and protein shakes exclusively) for about $10 a day, or $3 a meal, and I feel great. Eating whole, natural foods is very important, but it can be done on a budget and definitely doesn’t have to be an either or thing!
You have incredible teeth btw 😂 Keep on putting out the good advice and good vibes 🙏🏼🤙🏼

Oof I just got to the bit where you criticize Graham for the size of his house. haha I don’t know if you know this but for many years when he started investing in properties he lived in an unbelievably modest duplex (for his net worth at least) that he rented out the other half of, and just recently decided to move to Las Vegas where houses are much cheaper that here in LA, and upgrade to something more extravagant, I’d say because he worked really hard and earned it.
I feel that your content is usually so full of love and oriented towards bringing out the good in others, it’s what has really pulled me in to your videos/energy on the past couple months, but this video feels off from that to me. As a teen I used to save on food and I was feeling so heavy, tired and even more exhausted after being up from 5am up until 12pm and sometimes even 3am!!!! That was my hustle lifestyle so I could feel worthy and be able to afford stupid shit. It was so bad and my already chronically ill body was just shutting down. Don’t make my mistake guys. I now eat as healthy as I can and INVEST in my relaxation time - and I love it!

    Love this video!
To bring some inputs on the conversation, two things I’d love to share with you:
1/ local food is sometimes higher quality than organic food grew on the other side of the planet. In France, farmers have to go through a long and complexe process to be able to call their crops “organic” some of them are not willing to do the effort just for the label and a few bucks even though they might grow it organic and don’t advertise it. Abroad, farmers have different regulations and it is sometimes easier to get labeled organic when it’s been grown in green house that never seen a ray of sun. It’s definitely something to keep in mind when buying food!
2/ in France (again) we have access to loan under 2% interests rate including insurance. One strategy to make money is to buy a property, rent it and the rent(s) covers the cost of the loan + bring some money in your pocket to save or put towards another investment. It is obviously a process that must been well structured and studied and you need some money up front so the bank trusts you (cannot get a loan if your debt score is over 33%). The money cost almost nothing if you think that when you’ll sell the house (hopefully the same price or more) the interests may be cheaper than the price of inflation! Bingo :)

Hey, i really enjoyed this video, i really really did. The aspect about food is so important! I actually had this argument with my boyfriend when we joined households, he was always trying to save money on food by buying just crap. We both work hard and I basically told him:" What are you going to do with your career in like 10, 20 years down the line, if you ate so poorly and never worked out and just have a heart attack, get cancer or are just miserable? Nothing, you will have worked hard for absolutely nothing." Investing in your health should be an obvious priority and it always baffles me when people don't understand that. Like, what are you accumulating that money or following a career for if you'll end up being miserable in the end? Always investing in a good therapy is a big one, by the way. If you're depressed and rich you're also just depressed.

@@yellowdressbookstore6602 It makes sense to buy a house when you have a big downpayment already, when you find a good deal and to try and pay off the mortgage as son as possible, ideally in 10-15 years.
My husband and I bought an apartment for a great price in a big European city. I obviously can't predict the future, but even during the 2010 (In Europe the effects of the 2008 crisis were felt a little bit later)recession prices did not go down almost at all in Milan and they started rising in 2015. I guess I just hope the crime rates will not increase in my neighbourhood.
Paying overpriced rent forever and living in a crappy studio is not a life I want to have past my 20s so buying a house and living in a nice environment also brings mental comfort to me, personally.

I think we as a society have to sit down and have a conversation about what organic really is. I have been farming since I was 13 and Organic and pesticide free are 2 totally different things. organic produce that your eating could be filled with more pesticides than the non organic due to the fact that organic pesticides are created to biodegrade easier and that is their only benefit to the environment but you have to apply sometimes up to 4 times the amount of product you would with non organic. The amount of waste created and resources used to produce an organic pesticide negates the benefits of using an organic pesticide versus using a low spray Integrated pest management system that directly targets immediate insect pressure Instead of big blanket applications of pesticides that cover all potential insect issues that large commercial farms use. In addition to this organic pesticides are NOT FDA regulated and some could potentially harm you in ways we don't know yet. Organic marketing is deceitful. No matter your opinion, I just think it's really important that we are all aware of the facts. Research the farms you purchase from and look for low spray farmers and PLEASE shop local markets! The average carrot travels 1000 miles, think of the environmental impact of that!! Thank you

One of the reasons why I would listen or take advices from a woman instead of men (not too be sexist but totally am), but generally men do not know how to balance things and make everything so extreme, making it less of a fun experience when it comes to money. It doesn't have to be that way. It can be fun, just have to find the things that fit one's lifestyle AND be aware of how the money is being spent/invested/saved. One rule isn't going to fit everyone, it needs to be modified/cater to one's wants and needs. Thanks, Sorelle!

"Organic" food is a marketing ploy. Healthy foods is what should be focused on as the main approach. There are many places that sell "organic" foods that are not truly grown in that fashion and cost 4 times as much. Also there are markets that sell produce that don't look marketable because they don't look like the marketing standard version, but are just as good for cheaper.

    • @Abundantiaco

I agree that some organic food is a marketing ploy, though not all. There is overwhelming evidence that organic foods are generally more likely to contain higher levels of nutrients and beneficial compounds than conventionally grown food. But that's not to say that all organic food is created equal. More than anything though, I just disagree with financially successful people glamourising eating cheap, processed, carb-laden foods to save a few cents or dollars, and not addressing what could be the long term negative health effects of maintaining that kind of diet.

Second comment here, because so many points were made. The last time I wanted a big mansion was when I was in my early teens, but growing up, my mom always had us do different chores, among those was cleaning the house...cleaning is ROUGH, especially now as an adult with less time. I quickly learned that a mansion was not as glamorous as they make it out to be, imagine taking care of such a big house...also nobody needs that much space unless you're planning to live with a lot of people. People might argue that if you can afford a mansion you can get someone to clean...but in my case, I don't like having people in my house, so I prefer to clean it myself. Also I've realized that I can live in a place that has a decent sized room, a guest room, kitchen, workspace and that's it.

One important thing to realize regarding the trend towards owning lavishly big houses, is that while the people living there might rationalize living in a massive property by themselves or with their small families by saying “But in the past the aristocracy owned palaces too!”, they forget that in those ‘ancient’ times, you had dozens of not hundreds (if you’re of royal descent) of *live-in* servants to tend to the ‘house’ and the needs of all those who lived in it. To occupy such a massive space with just ten people (in the case of a big family, but often way less) is a ridiculously modern concept, and it’s sad to see how these spaces that could be used to host dozens of people end up being just a show-off piece for some extremely rich person.

Hey Sorelle - love your channel and my body is 100% a temple in my mind.
That being said, “organic” is a rather nebulous term, and can mean very different things depending on what country you are in. For example, The US voted in the 1960s on the definition of an organic label and it absolutely does NOT mean no pesticides, herbicides, fungicides or other poisons… it simply means that what is used on a crop must be of an “organic” (ie from a natural) source. Many things that are from the earth are just as toxic (some are even more toxic in fact, and have to be used in greater quantities because they biodegrade more easily) than the toxins used in “conventional” crops.
Also when we are talking about “organic” in terms of packaged foods, they are cleaner mostly because of the absence of dyes, certain preservatives and other harmful additives “organic” or “health food” companies don’t use.
Most studies agree that eating a wealth of fruits and vegetables is far more important than eating organic ones… and I have noticed myself (when I ate exclusively organic) being stingy with the amount of produce I bought and consumed -especially with children (they eat a ton of produce!). Toxins accumulate significantly as they travel up the food chain, so buying “organic” (but more than that: local, wild-caught, or grass-fed etc…) dairy, eggs, and especially meats and fish is where I tend to put my attention… again, especially for my kids. (As in, the toxic load for a piece of treated broccoli, especially when you consider most of the treatment has occurred weeks before harvest), is insignificant compared to that piece of beef, where the cow has consumed load after load of treated grains/corn/soy in its life.
My main point here: “organic” doesn’t mean much. And you can be healthy without using that as your ultimate guideline for what is healthy and what is not. 🙏🏼❤️🌎

Couldn't agree more with the whole 'bigger is better' mentality. I am on my way to be mortgage free in the next 4 years and my partner and I will then own outright a modest house in Devon, UK. We don't have plans to then get another mortgage and go for a bigger and more expensive house (which sooooo many people keep telling us we should do btw! - nuts!!) - why? Because we don't need it. It's less to clean, less to maintain, less to worry about, and overall it's the perfect size for just the two of us anyway. I'm now really against the idea of "keeping up with the jones'" and making yourself poorer for outward appearances. So that point you made resonated with me to my absolute core! Then when we're mortgage free instead of worrying about a huge debt, me and my partner can travel more, work part-time if we choose, the possibilities increase exponentially. Thank you for your channel. I had the opportunity to choose to go into debt to purchase my first home. This allowed me to climb the property ladder and move to a larger home that suited my needs and my families needs. I was able to use the equity to re finance. Now I am completely debt free and have been for 15 years. I think the attitude of buying a home is very different than purchasing properties. We all need somewhere to live and the money I put into my home benefited me directly and immediately. This doesn’t mean I was reckless or manically tight with money, I simply lived within my means. This allowed me to live a warm comfortable life and provide a safe secure place to raise my children and experience community. I am very grateful for the ability to own my home . I was not just paying rent into some guys property portfolio so he can get stinking rich, which unfortunately is the experience my children are dealing with. They may never be able to get into the property market because of the ruthless actions of a few greedy people. To have shelter is a basic human need that is becoming impossible for more and more people . I am an Australian and I believe this is shameful for a so called developed nation.

I agree with you about the advice some of these financial “experts” on UA-cam (e.g. Graham) give.
Watching them makes me feel disappointed hence I unsubscribed.
Recently Graham did an interview / sit down session with Kelly Stamps who was actively pursuing her expensive dream of piloting. It was what made her really happy, and I was just surprised at how much he struggled to understand the concept of simply: passion & interests, and even put her down for it (in the comments section she did express how disappointed she was w him too).
It seems to me that some of these experts are so obsessed with every cent in their life, hence they also recommend that others do the same. While they get happiness from saving every cent, I do think it is okay for anyone to find and spend money on things that bring them happiness and health.
Personally, I’m glad your channel has such a good balance of both - and that really is why I respect what u say a lot more than theirs (personal preference).
Keep up ur work and stay happy, healthy & rich! All 3, none less! :)

As a Nutrition and Dietetics student, organic food, from a nutritional standpoint, it's not any better that conventional food. There is plenty of studies in pubmed (a database where all medical related studies are published, that people in the health field use) that show that organic food is not more nutritious than non organic food. It's also more difficult to feed a growing global population and people in underdeveloped countries with organic food because it's harder and more fragile to produce. Organic food isn't also "pesticide free", it can use organic chemicals (molecules with carbon atoms in them, which also doesn't matter, because everything is a chemical, vitamins are chemicals, minerals, are chemicals, water is a chemical, etc and we shouldn't be swayed by buzz words like "chemicals" and "poisons"). We also shouldn't put pesticides into a bag and label them as "poison" because every substance on this earth is a poison in a certain dosage and frequency, even water. All pesticides are used in a very controlled amount and studied extensively before being used and approved, at least, in modern times they are. But, organic food maybe more sustainable and better for the earth and the environment than some agricultural practices done by industrial agriculture. So, no, organic food is not a health priority (and that is why it isn't pushed and talked more by governments, a bigger priority is simply to get food on the table of families in need and to change bad lifestyle habits into healthier ones), it's not a good way to feed people in need, but other ways of producing food in a more sustainable way should be studied and applied because some conventional agricultural practices are absolutely destroying the earth. We don't need organic food to be healthy, we just need good and healthy food, whole foods, in a proper amount for our needs, because organic food is not more nutritious or even safer than conventional food. That's another thing, organic food it's not only harder to produce, it's also not any safer than the non organic version. The only good argument for organic food is the sustainability of the practices applied

I love that channels like yours exist to create balance in this space. There's definitely value in the hustle culture, but tomorrow is also not promised to anyone. Even the hustle needs to be done with moderation. Do live a little today, because if tomorrow were to be the end, you would want to look back and still be happy with the experiences you've had in life.
Oh, and yes, the house is not always an asset. In fact, when it's all said and done, most ppl pay more for their houses in the form of interest payments than they make out of it. Take the average house for $300k, over 30 years, with a 3.5 - 4.0 APR, that's $500k in total payments. So you have to sell that house at at $500k for it to have made you money. Otherwise, you're simply recouping part of your costs. And that's before the taxes, maintenance, HOAs, and the plethora of costs associated with owning a home. That may not necessarily be a bad thing if you have a strategy to divest at some point and use that "saved money" to invest in something else, but those are considerations most ppl who simply tell you to buy a house don't advise for.

With you on this Sorelle! Nutrition is important for mind and body! Period. And, its in bad taste to influence people toward unhealthy food choices!
I am from India, and we eat a lot of veggies day-to-day. We have a minimum 2 different kind each day, every day. I really didn't know how important this was and what a blessed life I had until I entered states for my Masters. I had nutritious food until then but, had no knowledge of it, and I fell severly sick, severely to the point it affected my mental health, just grabbing anything, and anthing at college. It was more for more than 3 years I had terrible food and It ruined me. Now, I am properly educated (I need to learn more), on how important eating organic food everyday is. Back to India, it helps. But, thats not the point.
    People, health first!

Sometimes buying bulk can save money, there are times it's a waste. Also, GRAINS!!! They are healthy, you need them and as long you store them properly they are basically nonperishable! Get some beans, lentils, rice, barley, etc. And learn how to cook them. You can reduce the cooking time of beans by soaking. But lentils cook fast so need no soaking. About fruits and veggies, go to farmers' markets as Sorelle said. Check the frozen section of the grocery store and find out which gives you more for your money. And if you have a big fridge, learn how to freeze food properly so when bulk is worth it, you can do it WITHOUT spoiling food! ALWAYS make sure to not spoil food. It's not only a waste of food. It's also a waste of money.

I just listened to the audiobook of The Richest Man in Babylon, based on your recommendation. According to that book the only appropriate debt is for investments that will hopefully make a return.
I live in New Zealand and work for a charity which supports people in financial hardship. The amount of debt people go into in order to pull themselves out of a sticky money situation is shocking! And it almost always results in them being in worse hardship than before.

Everyone can eat healthy within their budget, even if not organic. Unless a person is sadly in very extreme circumstances, we can all control how we spend our money on food. When people talk down on organic food, I just think they really don’t understand the big picture and how food works and is processed in our body.
Just to add, “organic” can be regulated differently depending where you live, but with a little research, one can know how to shop and what is quality food bars on where you live. There are parts of the world where “organic” labeling really isn’t a big leap from the rest that’s offered because food is already very much controlled to a higher standard of quality.

I love Graham and Andrei, food is all about balance (just like other areas of health). You need the budget, that's the key. From early on you need to save and invest money consistently, but stick to a food budget. That's the weakness many people face, not setting limits. You shouldn't skimp on food to where you damage your health, but you should control the cost to where it won't damage your wallet and future investments. I believe the tip about coffee and saving $5 a day for a 40 - 50 year period. That doesn't mean you couldn't get yourself a treat a few times a week, just don't do it every day imo.
The ways to increase wealth are to cut expenses and increase income, but definitely don't decrease your health. The fuel for your body is extremely important and you want to make sure you get lean protein, vibrant mixture of fruits/veggies/wholegrains/seafood/etc. Drink plenty of water too! I never resort to eating crap food like Burger King or similar places. I cook most of my meals and buy out on the weekend sometimes. Always eat lots of fruits, drink a lot of water, recently started hitting the gym again, and I mix in plenty of leaner protein and vegetables. I just make sure I keep my balanced diet no matter how rich it is at the time.

about the food point , it's definitely right to know what's healthy and put it in your body but it's also important to know what healthy you're spending your money on , is it expensive cause it's overrated or branded or is it healthy cause it's healthy , ya know ? and that's a life lessons and it's to understand the difference between actual quality and their price or just branded or overrated stuff . i myself don't like being a fool away from spending my money and all i would live to use my money in a way that makes it work for me not into just being a fool with it . not saying you're saying that tho that's just a a valid reason to be more careful with your spending in food or whatever , you're amazing tho i rly enjoy your channel n I'm grateful for it

This video is SOOOO good and necessary. I realli don't understand this debt culture. In Argentina people more commonly buy their houses outright, and we are POOR! Actually people my generation are struggling more that the previous ones, but mortgage here is not a thing. There are programs that are not quite like mortgages but do work with monthly payments but they are better than mortgages because there is no room for that here, cause we don't have the culture for it. I highly reccomend a Netflix series that I loved, even if I don't ever plan on getting a mortgage I think it's really cool it's called "How to live mortgage free" and it shows cases of different people in the UK who managed to pay their mortgage fast or buy their home without mortgage. So interesting and useful tips and ideas.

*At **2:47** Andrei is right- the alternative to organic food isn't necessarily bad food. You are WAY better off eating a healthy meal that's not organic than paying twice as much for organic and letting it ruin your budget and letting it keep you from getting ahead. Eating healthy is already expensive, when you make it priority #1 to make it organic too, especially when you don't have funds to spare, it's like buying designer clothes to feel good at your minimum wage job- it's enough to keep you trapped on a certain level. I live in a farming community, and I see first hand how much of a difference cage free, organic, free range, etc... is first hand. It's better, but not 40% better. You're paying a lot for the hairs you're splitting. Once you're financially set, THEN you can spend big to fine tune your food. Just eat healthy- mostly veggies, steamed chicken, etc... as healthy as you can afford. "wouldn't take nutritional advice from either of these dudes for obvious reasons..." Why the attitude? Kinda obnoxious if you ask me.*

There was a study in the US that said basically organic fruits and veg are no more healthy than non organic. The point was, just eat fruit and veg. BUT I try and buy organic because or how it’s produced. I want farmers to be able to save seeds and not worry about getting sued by Monsanto. Whether you think it’s healthier or not, there’s other reason to buy organic.
