Just got top 128 (88) in the Latin America Regional with BP Croc. I ran fewer events and a bit different list with more 2ks and Miss Valentine and the blue 10 cost Kaido. Blocker Doffy was awesome, knowing what I was putting in life with 8 drop Croc or drawing into with Crocs ability was a game changer. It was a very fun deck to play with and I think it can get results!

Para primera mano quería ver Miss All Sunday para rampear, algún blocker y counter 2000 para poder defender. Si tenía que descartar algo usualmente eran eventos que podía recuperar con miss all Sunday blocker. Hay muchas manera de recuperar cartas en mano así que no importaba quedarte con pocas cartas. @@OFFDavidSpring
Just be aware of what you might lose, don't play out all your blocker in early. The other player is also spending 3 Don and an event to clear your board so if it happens in the first turns it's one turn you are not getting hit in the face with a bunch of 1 drops. Dragon twister was awesome against zoro, to defend and clear 1 drops. Try to have a good amount of life for when you play out the big guys. I feel really comfortable playing with 1 or 2 life knowing you can recover with de 8 drop croc. @@kerambeach

Yeah I watched it back and we only went into time because of the judge call, we spent more time waiting for a judge than we did actually playing in time lmao
So this is the first BP Croc deck that plays the new stuff that makes sense to me. I think we have to lean into the 0c events atm. It also makes 100% sense to me why you struggle into yellow. Not enough blockers to blocker wall them. Also, Id love to get into all sunday but that takes my magellan slot, which is another card that is busted into yellow.
I heavily considered Magellan for a while but with my own playstyle I try to avoid don minus effects so I can establish giant bodies like Croc as fast as possible, that’s why my only early to mid game don -1 is Queen. Yeah I considered pacifista for specifically that reason but I’m just accepting the 1 bad matchup to remain dominant over the rest. Thanks for the feedback!
@@edissoncajilima7396 I considered it but it makes your blue matchup significantly worse since it dies to Mihawk. The way I see it is I’d rather have 1 good matchup and 1 bad matchup instead of 2 bad matchups where I slightly do better in 1 of them. That’s just my 2 cents on it tho.
Thanks for the sauce! Won our 24 man locals with this list. Only change I made was 4 purple sakazukis instead of kaya, to have a secondary option to ramp. List and leader are legit, but god damn do you get a headache sometimes 😅

The only change i made was to add 2x of the 7 Banish Croc i believe Yellow hates Banish, it also makes blue events cost less ++ Am trying 2 copies of blocker boa hanco but i ll probably just remove her.(cant help it her full art is the best) Edit: How would you improve the list with OP05 ?
I’m also playtesting the 7c Croc again too! I ran it in OP01 but cut it in OP02. I have yet to decide whether or not weakening your blue matchup by running more Mihawk targets is worth it but we’ll see. Also I haven’t tested for OP05 so I’m honestly not sure yet.
In OP05 I’ll still play him on the side for fun but I wouldn’t play him with the intent of competing. I have not theorycrafted an OP05 build yet since I’m going to be maining Sakazuki but I’ll look into Croc again once things settle and share any updates I make to him on the channel/discord.
Very interesting decklist, it's such a shame that almost nobody use this leader or isho but that is hiw the tcg works. Have you guys decided to not review the rest of the set 5? I hoped ti hear your thoughts on the cards but i'm okay if that is not the case
I feel 2 don is too expensive in a deck that's already playing with 1 less don every turn for leader ability, has don minus effects, playing some of the most expensive events in the game, and sometimes needing to keep don open for counter events on top of it. I also refuse to play a searcher unless I have at least 18 targets so I can hit 80% of the time, and I'm happy with my numbers so I'm not going to mess with the deck to make room for 2 more targets AND miss valentine, 6 cards is a lot and the deck space is already tight enough as is. If I had to add more BW it'd just be 2ks, but the 2ks I play have actual functions outside of being just a 2k.
I get what your saying i was just curious since she can search out your turn three play of all sunday and your Croc boss plus your sparda event. So i wanted to see if you thought it was worth trying is all for increased consistentcy. Also on a note she can grab herself so you would have the 18 targets you wanted even without BW 2ks funny enough ^^ Thanks for the quick reply. If she can search herself then that’s better, rather than 6 I’d have to make room for 4, the space is so tight though that I couldn’t figure out how to make room for 4 Doffy blockers which is a card I really want to play so the problem still persists haha
Minusing DON and being taken off curve mid game for +1000 power isn’t worth it, and the 7k also isn’t really relevant since Croc already has the most counter out of any leader in OP besides White Beard. Every event you play is +3k or +4k (Spada can be either depending on what you stack). All Sunday & Queen is definitely more than enough.
Yo we finally get it, dude we use the same case for leader plus having playsets of every don, gotta get them all Sunday alts (even the blocker(yes she has one))
Nahhhh I hate the blocker alt, she has a better background but I hate the non-foiling. I have them, I just don’t use them lmao. The 5c All Sunday though I plan to, I foiled my previous build, 5c was a newer addition though so I don’t have her yet.
I think he’s too fragile & in my testing it felt like he was kinda on a clock where if he didn’t win by like turn 7 you’d lose but he’s definitely a lot better now and I think a valid mid tier leader
ugh its just your @ 8 1k counters and it's all on cards u want to play. It's just so rough if people go wide and start swinging 5s. For ex. I could commit 2 don for a normal magic 7 swing or I could put that don on a 3k and force u to over combo, or 2 4ks and force u to have to do it 3 times (including leader swing). You have no good way to deal with that. You have 3k worlds and red roc but if I get weird and throw down anything that can swing even if it's normally suboptimal or even bad, you never will have good targets, and everything becomes blocker because I'm forcing you to clear it. Idk if my locals just have been particularly mean to this deck or if I'm missing something but I'd be interested to hear everyone's thoughts
Honestly hard to say. They beat & lose to different things. Mono has the better yellow matchup so it always is going to depend on the meta. If yellow is on top, mono is better.
I mean showing decks on the sim is like the best people can do if they don't know someone with "credentials" its not like most players have that anyway with this barely 1 year old game. SIM also offers a better view of the game rather than someones phone pointed at a table
My problem with sim content is you can tell when you’ve had a good game or a bad game on sim. You can feel out when the player you’re playing against is competent or misplaying. When you do sim content you should upload the games that best showcase what your deck is realistically capable of, win or lose, not upload you beating players that are obviously misplaying or new to the game. That doesn’t give an accurate representation of what viewers can expect if they netdeck you. If in your video you’re acknowledging how bad the opponent is playing, that’s not a game that should be uploaded to showcase how good your deck is. That’s just my opinion though.
Based. Tired of people uploading only Ws when you learn much more from Ls. Also yeah SIM player pool is weak but you will occasionally find a strong player which is good content.
DON is too valuable in this deck so you don’t really have too much free DON, sogeking’s stat line makes him not worth it to me plus he doesn’t bounce anything that BP Croc is really scared of. I’d usually rather just spend the DON on a red roc and hit actual problems.
@@SmallHatCrewthat makes sense. I was running a list that commited to ramping fully. 4 jack, 4 ulti, 4 ms all sunday. Try to play mihawk or croc on turn 4 then switch to the event shenanigans. Its really a shame that this deck takes hard Ls from yellow. I think the ramp variant has a bit of a better chance. I thought about brick fist too, maybe to help deal with all the free bodies off trigger

I struggle against yellow also, 7 drop croc help because it became the center of attention immediatly

What do you think about mr.4 babe? He’s a 6k body with counter for 5 don that for don -1 can become a 7k blocker on the opp turn
