- This algebra video tutorial explains how to multiply rational expressions by factoring and canceling. It explains how to factor the greatest common factor, factoring trinomials, factoring difference of squares, factoring sums and differences of cubes, and factor by grouping. This video contains plenty of examples and practice problems on simplifying rational expressions.

i swear- when this is being taught in class i get so confused and end up not understanding anything, but watching an almost 10 minute video made me understand it much quicker.
Thats the beauty of learning on UA-cam you can stop, start, and fast forward the videos! It makes it so much easier to learn effectively!
Yes very much easy. Not in class you can't pause the teacher or forward the instructor aspect back if you ain't understanding 😏😊☺️🙋
@@helenabobo-dour9540 my teacher posts videos for students who learn better from videos but she teaches so slow in the videos too LOL

MR. Organic Chemistry Tutor, thank you for another off the chart's video/lecture on Multiplying Rational Expressions in Algebra/Algebra Two. There is high probability of making errors while multiplying/factoring rational expressions, so students must pay close attention to all algebraic operations.
When your trying to learn this in an hour in the computer class cuz ur math test is a couple hours away.
👇like if thats happened to you
Edit: When nothing that you learned was on the test...

When you put 3 hours in to studying this
And yet you were to lazy to answer the questions....

5 minutes away, 4 now actually
Bruh i am in the same boat. I'm going to school for economics online for asu. The algedra class was so vague in teaching us this. I didn't know the teacher will be having us take tests in such a short amount of time!
guys, wish me luck ! i have a quarterly test tomorrow !
edit: so i've received my test earlier, and i aced it ! i got a 98% !
muk bokki Congrats!
wtf
Nice flex... ok!

Shiii I have a test tomorrow on thiss 😢
Back to your channel once again to study. Thank you for carrying my grades on your shoulders.
today is the day before my algebra 2 unit 2 test, one of the most difficult algebra tests i have yet to take. it is around 85 points for this first section, and i was really stressed about it until i remembered your videos. my teacher is rarely at school, so often, the most important lessons are taught through google classroom and a worksheet. i find myself pulling my hair out trying to teach myself these things, so when i find a video you make on the topic, i am flooded with relief. i have been on an algebra 2 video binge for the past few hours, and i have learned more from you than i have this year. thank you so much. you help so many people, including myself.
bro I made the test today and failed 💪

I appreciated that you did your best to make us understand it, thank you!
This video was uploaded 4 years ago and yet a worthy to rewatch.
This was so confusing during class but your video helped me understand so much more. Thx
Thank you so much, none of this makes sense until I go to youtube. Crazy how much can understand in 12 minutes of youtube vs 1 school hour of staring at my desk.

Thank God for having u in my life , i always understand his teachings , i understood 95 % , the rest is up to me to be enthralled with 😙❤
This was a lifesaver.

thank you for saving my life I really needed help on this
Thanks so much for your videos, you help me out so much you wouldn't even believe! I finally feel like math is a lot more manageable.
You are the best!! Only reason I'm passing my math class. You explain things in a way that I can understand. Thanks!

Thank you.for the ad
What's up with the ad? 😓
I always hate when different schools different methods cause the QT 2 ( Quadratic Case 2 ) in the video is different than the way my school does it.
yeah.. it just makes my mind ev4n worse.. but I guess I can catch up with this, this and my lessons doesn't have that much of a difference.
If this technique is different from ur school then start showing it off to ur teacher
Thank u...I'm so glad I found this channel✊💖
this actually helps alot. We're learning this in grade 7. I understand this even more than my teacher.
Thanks I’m learning this in grade 2!
No you’re not
how do you do excluded values?
is the point of discontinuity means restriction???
Thank you Sir.. I'm very grateful.
Is this same as multiplying rational algebraic expression?
Thankyou
THANK YOU SO MUCH! Just carried my entire grade
wait how did you get 3(x²-16)?

Thanks g
you’re a legend👏👏👏
jezakallah bro
It’s hard to understand the content when your sleep deprived, so I have to watch UA-cam videos instead.
i can understand this better than i understand my class i get so confused
this subject will turn my life into ancient history
rip my brain cells
this will be very helpful today, then tomorrow i will forget this again😭
where and when will I use this in the future??
In your job.. I dunno
4;35 doesn’t make sense to me Bc how u gonna multiply ur trinmonal on the left and then divide it on the right
your teaching helps so much with math
In the first problem is it ok to Distribute 7x to (x+5) which is 7x+35 . Is It ok?
Is this mark wahlberg??
so if all the numerator and denominator cancel out then it would be 1 as the answer?
Exactly!
3/3=1
-5/-5=1
10x/10x=1
(x+2)/(x+2)=1
Etc.
If you ever have the exact same thing on the top and bottom, they cancel out and equal = 1
We in 🎉🤸💫
at 8:14 i don't get, I multiplied 2(20) and get its factors -10 & -4 that adds to -14 so mine was 2x²-10x-4x+20 but you factor all of the coefficients simultaneously so our answers is different. im confuse now, someone help me.
you gotta factor out the 2 first
Nice examples! But may I ask what happened to "3" from the trinomial x^2 + 3x - 10 @1:10
2years later and i’m sad nobody answered your question bc i’m confused too
@@mcaprisun its the sum of 5 and -2 and then thats it 🤷🏻♀️ its the only purpose of 3
I LOVE YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
i would like to thank this man for teaching this and existing
Why do I want to distribute when there is a constant and a term in parentheses for the final answer?
What happen to 3 sir
i studied so hard for an end of year test with these videos only for my teacher to give us a joke quiz where there was only 1 question, what is her first and last name.
thanks so much
everytime i hear "just factor by grouping" my mind goes blank
wouldnt the first problem be 7x+35/2 ????
Yes, and 7x+35/2 and 7(x+5)/2, are the same and you could write the answer what ever way you want, it doesn't matter
what happend here at 4:11 did -7x got removed? to be change to x-3 and x-4
Here he factored out a 10x and also factored out the trinomial. This is what happened. He had 10x^3 -70x^2 +120x -->
10x(x^2 - 7x +12x) then factored the (x^2 -7x+12x) term to be (x-3)(x-4) so the final factored expression was 10x(x-3)(x-4). Hopefully that made sense!
@@aidanpotts7157 ohh now i get it thanks
god bless you thank u very good tutorial which i am learning in ethiopia
Im kinda confused when do we use the difference of perfect squares? Or how do i know that i have to use it to solve this
Difference of perfect squares is a "special pattern" basically a way of simplifying expressions. The more questions you do the quicker you will recognize these difference of squares and can write them in the form of (a+b)(a-b) also to get the value of a^2 - b^2 you can just expand the (a+b)(a-b) term out and you will see that the ab term cancels!
My braincells, boosted but dead-
i have a unit test that could potentially replace a really bad quiz mark tomorrow. please wish me luck!!!
Hopefully the quiz went well!
I should have paid more attention in class
bruh i literally owe u my mathematical life ilysm please marry me
i can't even focus because of his voice 🤤😷

Wait I don't get the point of cancelling out 5 and 10... Why don't I just leave 5 and 10 alone? (Except for x)
♥️♥️♥️Me studying during quarantine.
Well. I've learned more here than I did with my 2 1/2 hour lesson in class today.
Gotta love learning on UA-cam!
