Why is this man not teaching my classes? He is so much better than most teachers out there, especially mine.
I really wish I could hire you as a tutor! Your simple and straight-to-the-point explanations are so on point with the way I learn. I am a 51-year-old veteran getting ready to take calculus next Fall, taking math 111 now and I know I can do this, but I do need to grind at example after example until it becomes like moving my hand. Thanks so much for what you do. I know you make a decent penny from these but there is a reason that you do. You're really good at leading instruction videos my dude!

How are you doing sir?
MR. Organic Chemistry Tutor, thank for selecting and solving Exponential Functions for all past, present and future high school and college students. Having a strong math background is very important for all Engineering and Computer Scientist etc.
Ya I need math in order to do sciences
I can't thank this channel enough! I'm going to college 12 years after high school, which has proven very difficult. I'm working my way up to calc 2, this man is a godsend as my online classes don't explain this material even 2^-2 as well as he does. Cheers! Edit: Grammer, not the math lol.
What is a derivative pls tell
Thank you so much! I’ve been doing online school and sometimes I get distracted in class or sometimes the problems they assigned for homework are more complicated than the examples they show us in class. And your videos really help to understand the subject better !

i'd just like to say, i dropped maths after my second year of highschool, and now i'm in a gap year self studying high school maths to get the qualifications to get into uni for physics. you'd think it was impossible, so thanks so much to this guy
Im literally in the exact same position as you. How did it go? Im self-teaching myself algebra 1-2 , geometry, trigonometry, and calculus.
@@greyinsight oh my god thank you for reminding me of this comment! I barely passed it and got in, currently cramming for a stats exam in two days. Practice makes everything, and uni level math is fun once you start seeing the patterns, it will always feel confusing at first but that's for everyone.
Do you have a curriculum you're following? And do you have a test you need to pass to get in? Structuring your learning is everything imo and that's something I had to learn the hard way. If you have the time left before the semester I rec reading up on real analysis if you have it in the first semester like we did, it's literally calculus but built from the ground up. Took me personally a long time to get used to the change in framework from computation to proofs. Also, if you don't understand something, look for another resource, you're already using chat gpt right?
@@chrono4998
Currently unsure of any tests to enter any universities, I'm just self-teaching through a myriad of resources as of now. I utilize Chat-GPT for inquiries to further my knowledge of the concepts I'm learning. The structure I'm following is through a few free websites like Khan Academy, so I have a roadmap to follow. I'm in between moves, so it's been difficult overall to focus on academics.
Regarding computation and proofs, I enjoy the process of computation just as much as proofs, but for me, I must be proficient in computations before comprehending the processes behind proofs. Chat-GPT assists me in that facet.
What also is tremendously beneficial was understanding the history of each discovery and how it came to be, it just kindles great curiosity to each new concept I'm introduced to, how they were established as axioms just fills me with reverence for the field.
I'm not enrolled in any colleges or universities as of now but I get the feeling though when Im actually introduced into the environment of a university it's going to be stressful. :( But I made a personal vow that this is something I desired more than anything. Been curious of our place within the cosmos since birth, and physics is the entrance to the realm of discovery.
@@chrono4998 I would like to study physics in uni, do you have tips or things I should focus on? I just would like to prepare myself a bit.
Thank you so so much! I am currently cramming information for a test and literally you've helped me grasp this so so much!!

Would be great if you could give us some kind of test at the end that makes us use what we've learned from the video. It'll be way better that way because people don't learn passively. People learn by doing things actively.
Re-watching the video and Rereading my comment now. It sounded dumb. What i meant was giving us exponential equation in the end but with no solution and you should only give us the answers so that were forced to rack our brains.

On the given 4^2x - 20(4^x) + 64 = 0, we can also just factor out 4^x, and see that x clearly is equal to 1.

....
I am a grade 9 student. My teacher teaches so fast I don't understand. Sir, you helped a lot😃.
I am grateful to you forever 💛
this guy will get me through my IB maths
i love your video soooo much my man
9:57 i solved in a different way but got the same answer this: ln4 - 6/-2 which simplifies to 3-ln2
thank you for your easy to understand lesson
5ˣ = 5x + 15
5ˣ = 5(x + 3)
Sorry I can't express further steps of the equation due it is too difficult for me, but I would try the root test method to continue solve for x.
When x = 1,
5¹ ≟ 5(1 + 3)
5 ≟ 5 • 4
5 ≟ 20
5 ≠ 20
When x = 2,
5² ≟ 5(2 + 3)
25 ≟ 5 • 5
25 ≟ 25
25 = 25
∴x = 2, so the answer is C.
Just a suggestion guys: you could also collect like terms. Every thing with x should be taken to either side of the equal sign
2x-x=2-3 ( example) thanks😁
Yeah your example is how we were taught. I got confused when he did it differently but I realised it was the same thing.
Same thing
he is a great teacher
@15:03 isn't it supposed to be 3^2x(1-1^-1) ? I mean, when you divide the base 3 & -3, you'll get -1 right?
someone plz answer.....
yup he made a mistake
Im going to take a military academy entrance exam in 3 hours. Wish me luck!

Uk
I can much understand his example than my teachers example thanks for everything.
I have a question on the last problem illustrated in this video. How can I get clarification?
very good examples! a couple of new tricks for my bag.
you are a great tutor!!
I have a question, on 4:10, why is it 6 and 8? And not 9 and 28? Is there a specific rule and how to do that part?
I also got confused at this part can someone explain?
subtracting 9x instead of 8x would make x negative. it just saves the step of making x positive at the end.
9x - 6 = 8x + 28
subtract 28 from both sides
9x - 34 = 8x
>then subtracting 9x from both sides
-x = -34
multiply or divide both sides by -1
x = 34, same answer
1:15 why did you do that simultaneously please explain or tag a video to me pls organic chemistry
Very informative sir...thankyou👍🙏🏼🙏🏼
😊wow why attempting to solve one of the questions I got two different formulas different from your that gave me same answers
Where have you been all my life organic chemistry tutor?
Very Good..
Thanks
On the 2nd problem is 8 not a multiple of 16 or is there a reason you cant go 8 and 8 to the 2nd power
thanks again, magical knowledge man
My teacher said that the 8x should transfer to the 20x so it means that 20x-8x= 12x and 12 transfer to -36 our equation is -36+12=12x-8x
So -36+12=-24 and 20x-8x=12x
Divide both side by 1/12
1/12[-24=12x]1/12
Cancel 12 remain x and 12÷-24=-2
So our x = -2
How do you have all the videos that i search,,even physics!!!!love from Kenya.
when we write the numbers to their exponent form, do we have to use the same number for both part of the equation? for example 9 is exponent for 8=16, exponent of 8 is 2^3 and 16 is 2^4. But, we can also write 16 as 4^2. this is what I did and got different answer . Am I missing something?
Yes you have to use the same number. Like he said in the video, you have to convert the two numbers on both sides of the equation to a common base. For example 27=81, which equals to 3^3=3^4. The base numbers are the same, so the exponents are equal to each other, remember, ONLY when the base numbers are the same. I hope I helped. Good luck!
the last example on in this video reaaaaally reallly mind f**ked me lol. I still really really appreciate your videos though! Thank you so so much.
