I LOVE Kristin's voice! As a vocal major myself, I can tell you that it's damn hard to switch between classical, jazz, and pop in the same program, let alone the same song! Many kudos!
Fabbbbbulous! Love you Kristin. The BEST voice on Broadway because you really ARE a legit singer! Brilliant what you've done and sooooooooooo inspiring. Thank you!
she is really amazing! i love watching her preform no matter how tired i am of hearing the song, she always makes me laugh! too bad no one in my town even knows who she is!
she is SO adorable! When she was on Glee my dad just sat there and after about 3 minutes he just went "There is just no one as cute as Kristin Chenoweth" and I was like.... agreed dad :)
im only 14, i love this song though :D first heard it about 4 days ago when i was at the theatre with my mum to watch "gotta sing, gotta dance" (a mix of all the best musical songs). i love it now :)
WOW...that's all I can say...i've been a fan of hers for a long time but the fact that she sounds just as good live as on her cds is fantastic, especially because this is a difficult song to sing! It's not easy to switch up styles like that in a song and sound good doing it! I hope she's back on TV soon!
If you look up her album on Amazon, it seems to indicate all the songs on it are from musicals (many of them obscure). It lists the composer(s) for each song.
KC is just such a consistent deliverer when it comes to pleasing an audience with her artistry. Wow. I know that a lot of what she does is just her, but whoever she studies with must be awesome, too. Whoever said that she slugged H2O after this song--I believe it... hydration is SOOOO important after this workout! Anyone know what the top notes are for this snippet of Queen of the Night? Maybe it's in my range, lol!
I love the look at 1:48 I just absolutely adore her. If I was a gilr I would probably want to be like her :) I still wander where does she get that voice of. I mean, it's not ussual thing that someone with so small body can do such a wonderful performance. Love her.
I believe that the highest note in the voice is a high D in the version of this I accompanied for! Way high! I don't know if this is in the original key (G)
Amazing song! And of course an amazing singer, and you can see her acting too. That's someone from broadway!I also want to give credit to the band, this is a hard song to play!
Oh, God, isn't she the most amazing split/multiple personality in musical theater? She's funny, poignant, legit, operatic -- all in one hopelessly beautiful tiny body!
Her fav color is pink (after she did Wicked she changed it because it used to be purple), her fav bubblegum is Bubblicious, and she still talks to Idina Menzel almost everyday. Beat that. How do I know? Because I know her! And Idina! My cuz was in Wicked and he took me and my sis (Jujugirl ask her yourself) look at my profile. It SAYS "knows someone who was in Wicked" So there ya go!
Oh honey! You can! Even my altos have whistle tone...doesn't mean that's where you should be singing all the time...but we can definitely train the voice to get the notes and sound great. I'l help you out--for real.
@howrseroxs15 I heard some laughing. There's a very good possibility that the studio just has very bad acoustics. Plus they've probably figured it down to a science of how to minimise audience noise when performances like this happen. and they probably have audience microphones so when "applause" and stuff happen then they're actually heard... they just didn't turn on the mics for laughter most likely... It's called the TV studio tech are too smart for you!
That was completely unnecessary, WritingJenny73070. Saying "we are so much alike" does not mean anything other than that they have some common traits. Maybe rfrelick is a lot like Chenoweth, maybe she's nothing like her. Anyway, that was a very "dipshit"-like response to an innocent comment.
OMG... She is amazing... I would go as far as saying she is magical!!!
Wow... stunning, in every single way.
This woman never ceases to amaze me.
wow, that was absolutely perfect and it was LIVE! i cannot even like..get over her talent. its amazing.
I LOVE Kristin's voice! As a vocal major myself, I can tell you that it's damn hard to switch between classical, jazz, and pop in the same program, let alone the same song! Many kudos!
She is such an amazing performer, absolutely perfect at anything!
Fabbbbbulous! Love you Kristin. The BEST voice on Broadway because you really ARE a legit singer! Brilliant what you've done and sooooooooooo inspiring. Thank you!

I think Idina Menzel said it best: "There will never be another Kristin Chenoweth."

I still wander where does she get that voice of. I mean, it's not ussual thing that someone with so small body can do such a wonderful performance.

ho...ly...CRAP!!
This is the most amazing version of the song I've EVER heard!
I believe that the highest note in the voice is a high D in the version of this I accompanied for! Way high! I don't know if this is in the original key (G)

Gosh, listening to her makes me wish that I was a soprano. Being an alto is fine, but I'd love to nail those high notes.

I'm a girl, and I don't want to be like her..
I want to BE her :)
doesn't she just have the perfect.. everything? :)
xx♫
Kristin Chenoweth is my hero.
Look, I went to see The Apple Tree, and it states IN THE PLAYBILL that it's a High C that she sings.
This is in mobility Mary’s favorites playlist. Fun fact
You gotta love this woman! You should check out a hilarious (and very physical) version by Ashley Cuellar.
Check out ALISON VARD MILLERS version of Girl in 14G...AMAZING!!!
Rosie always seems to simi-hit on kristen when shes on her show >.>
BlackValleyRequiem Sick!
It is in the right key and she does sing the F's.
That's understandable I thought SPAM was absolute perfection before someone gave me chicken.
I love this song......she is multi multi multi talented.......but i have to admit this live version sounds a little better than the recorded version.
hey i would agree with them von smith is someone i dont know but kristin chenwoeth i know exactly who she is
i think kristin should host saturday night live! who agrees with me?
Is this from an actual show or just her album?
Pleeaaase tell me it's from a show (for competition purposes, etc.).
she looks taller! but still amazing!
well you mean one of those old cellphones withc has a bipping signal..she sounds like that
did she write this song?
Lol, I'm a bigger Idina fan. But combined we make Chenzel! So yeah. :P
yeah i'm the opera wannabe she's referring to. forreal. lol
Woot!
Are you an Idina fan? :P
This girl kicks A.
Oops, I just checked the sheet music, and it doesn't. =D;;
Actually she goes up to high C in "The Apple Tree".
damn, she is SOOOOOO fuckin' awesome. And, she's my height.
@howrseroxs15 I heard some laughing. There's a very good possibility that the studio just has very bad acoustics. Plus they've probably figured it down to a science of how to minimise audience noise when performances like this happen.

wait 13 is a floor in this building? normally they skip 13 guess not for this one
cutie patootie deluxe??
No, I think it does...
*kablink* wow...
umm...duh - they should have given her a standing ovation!
The quality of the video wasn't that good, but OMG KRISTIN IS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
she sounds like a well mobile phone signal....
I'm fairly confident that no body cares. Can't we just listen to the lovely singing without making it about you?
Wow fast tempo, I bet she's thinking, slow down!!!! Awesome though.
ah, rosie was such fun in those days. why's she have to get all shrill and irritating. i miss the queen of nice.
they lowered it and put it in a minor key to make it sound more annoying

Yeah, I get transfixed by her -- pretty much every time.
her talking voice sounds like karen from will and grace good singer tho!
von smith sings this song better
