I always love seeing Infinite getting more love in fan creations. He could have been such a interesting villain but he was shorted so badly in the actual game :(

@@ArtseyHayton06 My thoughts? I'm not too great at giving detailed feedback, but I think it's pretty good, definitely more consistent than what Forces had. Nothing groundbreaking, mind, but it is what it wants to be, and does it well. I especially love the interaction between Metal and Infinite, it's always a sight when two egomaniacs collide, especially since Infinite went back to his actual personality and manner of speech. I guess I would've liked to see Team Dark appear and see it address Shadow's involvement in Infinite's existence, but considering how Episode Shadow ended rather anti-climatically with Infinite deciding Shadow wasn't worth the effort anymore, I guess it's fine that they didn't since that crucial moment never really went anywhere.
I just love the Starlight Zone introduction to Stolen Valley! That was such a welcomed touch. I hope SEGA notices and understands, we don't mind re-occuring zones, it's that we don't want the same 3 zones appearing almost every game. (Green Hill, Chemical Plant, Sky Sanctuary)

I never will agree when people say mania reusing zones was a bad thing. Because mania made those zones better and quite frankly why would I play sonic 1s greenhill when mania does it better and has a sexy act 2 soundtrack. the mod reminded me so much of how sonic mania connected the zones, like how metallic madness lead directly into titanic monarch which is what final fever originally was gonna be in the 2012 re release. I just love to see it.

I personally don't mind SEGA bringing back past stages, but just do other stages. Marble Zone, Aquatic Ruins Zone, Hill Top, Star Light Zone (like in the video) are all perfect examples of stages that 100% should come back.
Wow, you can really feel the Unleashed dna in this. The game is built around testing your ability to react at boost speed! Also, I love the comic book cutscenes.
Nah bro the details in this are too pure. The sound design is insane with these comic cutscenes and the fact that I heard a broken Chaotix Theme when Vector is running trying to keep up with his squad is just too rich. This is masterful guys and deserves more attention already from the Sonic community. Holy guy they were really cooking.. Or Overclocking.. idk there was supposed to be a joke here but it kinda landed on it's face.

Here it was trying to be a subtle yet clever comment, with a bit of self-awareness in the end, but nothing too overbearing. My least favorite line is the parody to Sonic 06's "The whole city's on fire!", the part where he says it's obvious, felt just a little too much.

The developers here really have a handle on how the set peices were programmed in Sonic Forces and used that to make some really awesome and memorable moments in this mod.

Looks like they brought in the whole Adrenaline Dubs crew for this mod! I'm already 10 minutes into this and I am really enjoying it! Merry Christmas and congratulations to everyone involved with the project!
What else can be said at this point? This is beyond exceptional. It doesn’t even feel like a mod, but a full-blown fangame at this point. This is a prime example of how far the Sonic community can go with this franchise they love. I guess if I had to really nitpick something is that the story was too short with no big payoff at the end. Which, is to be expected given the limitations of what they could do. It’s just odd that we didn’t have Super Sonic factor in this somehow given how the villains are beefed up by magical gems too. All in all, it’s a great mod that’s practically DLC for this game. It’s just that good. I’d even dare say that it might be worth buying Forces just to play this. But, I think that if Forces reimagined does get completed by fixing the vanilla game levels, then yes, Forces on PC would be worth the full price.
This is the equivalent of a "Masterclass" on how to make mods. Cutscenes, whole stages, VOICE ACTING? WOW! This is one of the best mods i've ever seen. Edit: AND A FINAL BOSS SONG??? God damn, that's incredible. I've never seen this done by a mod before. The dedication. And to think that SEGA had all this cool material to make an actually interesting song. I also really liked how the stages had the auto-scroller style of the original, but with actual multiple paths and obstacles to dodge.
By the way, about the voice acting: all the characters in this mod were voiced by the guys from the Adrenaline Dubs studio. These are the same guys who voiced (and still do) comics from Archie and IDW, and they have their own UA-cam channel. And some voices are remixes of the old ones: For example, the voice of Tails - upgraded version of Sonic Adventure 2's voice, or Sonic's voice - a slightly modified version of the Prime voice.
This was awesome but far too short. I get that it's a fan mod so I shouldn't be expecting a whole game, but I feel like it needed at least 2 more levels. Story wise, I was really hoping for some big brain play from Neo Metal like last time where he puts all the pieces in place, leading to a cool reveal. I thought the plan was going to be to send Sonic into an illusion where he wins but he's actually been doing absolutely nothing, or that he was actually tricked into causing the destruction and the Rookie was going to slowly morph into Neo or Infinite. Either that or pull multiverses together to confuse the heroes with incomplete information and alternate versions of each other. Still a really fuckin cool mod though. 8/10.
Dude I agree!! As much as I was BLOWN AWAY by this mod, I was also a bit hung up on how short the plot went. Like u said, it IS a mod that people made just for the fun of it. And i love to enjoy what fans make above rooting for a super compelling plot each time (although I love me a good plot, and I was hooked w this mod!). With the levels that were provided, I do think the levels are much more fun/creative than the ones we got in forces! Quality over quantity 😆🤷🏻♀️
While that would be cool, even having a fakeout defeat of Neo Metal or infinite, only for them to continue their destruction, that more bland approach is far more in line if the Sonic Team actually wrote this.
i love they have the "Eggman has no control over his Badniks" as an excuse for Metal to have things other than Spikes and the Environment to hurt or make him try again

Wow! The visuals, the story, even getting Sonic to apologize! This was really great! Really expanded Sonic Forces a bit more. And I loved that end scene too.
I appreciate that Infinite has a real personality in this. Makes him a bit more relatable as a character, and as a villain. Good job to the Overclocked team all around.
Dude just based off that first level, different and INTERESTING pathways, just overall good and engaging level design that doesn't play itself the whole time. This looks absolutely FIRE guys
beautiful work. voice acting is my only gripe and it really isnt even that bad. those cutscenes were absolutely gorgeous. makes me wish if we get an IDW sonic game, that they use comic style cutscenes with some CGI sprinkled in
This was amazing to watch! Love the references and memes but most importantly the game itself, it actually has levels now, shame it only has 1 boss but it's brilliant non the less! And the fact this game takes just as long as the original despite being a quarter in size says a lot

This isn't a mod, this a full-on dlc sequel to Forces! Banger sonic fan game next to P-O6. Also I love how the eggman symbol is replaced by Neo Metal Sonic, it's a nice attention to detail.
In the end, Metal Sonic stayed true to his word and didn't abandon Infinite. They went down together; I just wish it had been acknowledged between the two sometime during the epilogue.

Oh my gosh. I can’t believe this is a mod! I would pay to play this!!! Incredible work and story telling!!! (The ending scene after the credits had me rolling!)
We are now 22 minutes in and this man just took down an Infinite phantom like Perfect Chaos from SA1. The writing has been done really well. It leans on the more serious Sonic Frontiers style of writing, Ian Flynn, but it's not a bad thing given it's era. I like that they made this feel more like a continuation rather as a reboot or retelling.. It very much feels like a real sequel with a slightly more serious tone and the exclusion of Classic Sonic really allows the writers to focus more on the other characters and give them moments to shine, even if we don't get to play as them.
Absolutely fantastic mod! I LOVE IT AAAAAAAA- This feels like a fully fledged new Sonic game. Even though it feels more like an amazing DLC, I works very well as a sequel to Sonic Forces. Infinite and Metal Sonic working together was really cool to see, the levels look super fun to play, the comic style cutscenes?!?!? They go super hard! I've been watching this project since the beginning...this is just insane how good it came out. Forces physics still are not good, but they really made the best out of it and made a great mod!
It took me for like a good 1/4 of the video to realize this was modded and I was very shocked to see how well made this was, also personally wanna point out how the fact HyperVoiceActing and MajinVA were a part of this ,It was fun noticing their voices ngl through Eggman and Knuckles respectively:,>
I guess this won’t be the last time we’ll see with Maurice if yall think about it this is a beta a demo… if all the years of the battles led to this even it was canon egg man’s plan to defeat sonic is applaudable he used a mere ruby with power to put sonic on the ground which is impressive enough but having two minds at the same is better they yet still managed to take down both of them while it need almost all of the forces on there planet to take them down this in my honest opinion shows on how genius dr egg man is… on top of that the detail where he wasn’t even there to get his butt beat is a impressive illusion if you will I would love to see more of stuff like this keep it’s up 👍
ive only watched the first few handful of stages, but this looks AMAZING. until i read the description and comments, i GENUINELY thought this was an official leaked/early concept for a sonic frontiers sequel.
I'm grateful that Infinite isn't dead, I hope the story continues and hopefully Infinite can forget about revenge and Become a good person, although it is very difficult to forget that his best friend is gone because he was killed by one of Sonic friends

This is a really well-made mod. The cutscenes remind me of the Sonic comics, the new voices sound pretty good, and the stage designs look great. (What's up with that "D.U.C.K A** B.R.O.W" building in Artificial Mask?)
Makes me want to get Sonic Forces on steam to specifically get this mod despite my full opinions on this game is EXTREMELY mixed after my experience with it on the Switch!
I still recommend playing the main game with the classic sonic improvement mod and the stage mods made by the same team as this extended story. They add a lot to the experience

Oh,actually,never mind,his voice acter isn't perfect for galvatron,his voice acter is perfect for TARN the most dangerous transformer who ever lived on cybertron and who was created by hasbro.
Just go to show whether it’s base Metal Sonic or Neo Metal Sonic, he and Eggman are cut from the same cloth. Also Infinite is calling the kettle black due to him doing the same thing in the main story of forces.
That final battle was really tense, though I think it would have been cool if the reality warping affected Sonic badly just before Tails could blow up the power source which could have lead to a cool moment where the Custom Hero saves Sonic from being obliterated from Infinite and Metal Sonic, and then we get that epic clash moment once the Custom Hero helps Sonic recover.. Or ya know, somehow has all the Chaos Emeralds and gives them to Sonic to finish off the duo.

Wow! The visuals, the story, even getting Sonic to apologize! This was really great! Really expanded Sonic Forces a bit more. And I loved that end scene too.
I appreciate that Infinite has a real personality in this. Makes him a bit more relatable as a character, and as a villain. Good job to the Overclocked team all around.
Dude just based off that first level, different and INTERESTING pathways, just overall good and engaging level design that doesn't play itself the whole time. This looks absolutely FIRE guys
beautiful work. voice acting is my only gripe and it really isnt even that bad. those cutscenes were absolutely gorgeous. makes me wish if we get an IDW sonic game, that they use comic style cutscenes with some CGI sprinkled in

This was amazing to watch! Love the references and memes but most importantly the game itself, it actually has levels now, shame it only has 1 boss but it's brilliant non the less! And the fact this game takes just as long as the original despite being a quarter in size says a lot
The fact that this brought together two of the best villains in sonic game history was very nice also the voice acting is so good you would think the actual cast of forces voiced it
it's like an unofficial sequel DLC to this game, can't believe this is made by such talented sonic fans! Kudos to the team!

Also I love how the eggman symbol is replaced by Neo Metal Sonic, it's a nice attention to detail.

In the end, Metal Sonic stayed true to his word and didn't abandon Infinite. They went down together; I just wish it had been acknowledged between the two sometime during the epilogue.

Oh my gosh. I can’t believe this is a mod! I would pay to play this!!! Incredible work and story telling!!! (The ending scene after the credits had me rolling!)
We are now 22 minutes in and this man just took down an Infinite phantom like Perfect Chaos from SA1. The writing has been done really well. It leans on the more serious Sonic Frontiers style of writing, Ian Flynn, but it's not a bad thing given it's era. I like that they made this feel more like a continuation rather as a reboot or retelling.. It very much feels like a real sequel with a slightly more serious tone and the exclusion of Classic Sonic really allows the writers to focus more on the other characters and give them moments to shine, even if we don't get to play as them.
I love everything about this. This is a expert mix of spectacle and the high speed action platforming that I love Sonic the Hedgehog for

This feels like a fully fledged new Sonic game. Even though it feels more like an amazing DLC, I works very well as a sequel to Sonic Forces. Infinite and Metal Sonic working together was really cool to see, the levels look super fun to play, the comic style cutscenes?!?!? They go super hard! Everything about this mod feels like a passion project come to life!

I guess this won’t be the last time we’ll see with Maurice if yall think about it this is a beta a demo… if all the years of the battles led to this even it was canon egg man’s plan to defeat sonic is applaudable he used a mere ruby with power to put sonic on the ground which is impressive enough but having two minds at the same is better they yet still managed to take down both of them while it need almost all of the forces on there planet to take them down this in my honest opinion shows on how genius dr egg man is… on top of that the detail where he wasn’t even there to get his butt beat is a impressive illusion if you will I would love to see more of stuff like this keep it’s up 👍

ive only watched the first few handful of stages, but this looks AMAZING. until i read the description and comments, i GENUINELY thought this was an official leaked/early concept for a sonic frontiers sequel.
It was really cool, 8/10, they actually used cool level design, the cutscenes are cool and the jokes are funny, and not overused at all.

This is a really well-made mod. The cutscenes remind me of the Sonic comics, the new voices sound pretty good, and the stage designs look great. (What's up with that "D.U.C.K A** B.R.O.W" building in Artificial Mask?)

I still recommend playing the main game with the classic sonic improvement mod and the stage mods made by the same team as this extended story. They add a lot to the experience

Just go to show whether it’s base Metal Sonic or Neo Metal Sonic, he and Eggman are cut from the same cloth. Also Infinite is calling the kettle black due to him doing the same thing in the main story of forces.

That final battle was really tense, though I think it would have been cool if the reality warping affected Sonic badly just before Tails could blow up the power source which could have lead to a cool moment where the Custom Hero saves Sonic from being obliterated from Infinite and Metal Sonic, and then we get that epic clash moment once the Custom Hero helps Sonic recover.. Or ya know, somehow has all the Chaos Emeralds and gives them to Sonic to finish off the duo.
