When ever I watch such a father - kid union, I damn the laws and law makers who dismiss fathers from their kid's lives and make them have no saying with their cild's life and giving all parental rights to mother. This is disguting, idiotic, moronic... You need 2 gender while making kids so why eliminating one of them when it comes to raise them?
I honestly believe that there are many, many fathers out there who would do almost anything to be in their child/children’s lives. But because of the mothers and the law they are denied that privilege/right. And it’s very unjust.
It was missing something else: Where is her mother on all of this. It would be interesting to see what she has to say, unless she passed away. Thank God for Ancestry and their work in reuniting these people..
This stuff happens all the time with women withholding children from the men and they get no say most of the time or if they do its too late because the child was told the dad was a terrible person or something like that, please fix this system.
Damn, it's bad enough that you have to read a book before seeing them meet but you could have slowed it down some so we could at least finish each part !!!

Yeah... Seriously from my heart Im happy for you but seeing these encounters is painful. Im 56 and just found my own Father, 88 years old and acting like Im his shame so no interest in meeting me. I went from hopeful, to hateful and now just trying to focus on my own kids. Ancestry encounters like this are rare, so please appreciate the uniqueness of it. Bless you.
I've been searching for my biological dad since I was 18 with no luck. I mentioned to my daughter 2 days ago I still desperately want to find my dad. All I had to go on was his name, where he used to work, his wife's name , that I have abrother and sister and their names. Within 2hrs she had found my sister and my brothers wife and was exchanging messages with my sister... I'm just waiting for that phone call. I'm 52

These people was lucky i never got to meet my father he was killed in a car accident i was only 7 years old when it happened...
