Took me 5 hours. Great video, it helped me a lot. Seems like Ikea changed some things up since this video was made and this comment. Some of the random screws are different and the middle piece of the middle piece in between the drawers is different, so don't get discouraged when you get to this part. Reference the instructions and take note of the holes so you know you're putting the right pieces together. Be careful here though because I built this piece wrong which caused the top not to align properly. Later on had to unscrew all the tracks of the middle piece and realign it properly. Thanks for the video! Got this dresser last year and it took me around 8 hrs to built with the instructions and breaks in between. This year bought one for my mom and am hoping following a video will take me less time 😩
I assembled a Hemnes nightstand yesterday with only the IKEA guidance, watching this video confuses me because the inside middle part now isn’t painted, and I was putting the painted part wrong! Then the plastic thing to secure the screws now are metal! IKEA has change its furniture assembly parts I believe. I’m not a reviewer, I just wanted to help in case would be same cases like mine. Good luck 🍀!
I did this and it matched the video quite well, the middle part, I think he calls it, which is the second step after putting the left and right sides together, is now three sticks rather than a panel and 2 sticks as in the video. And some of the parts that are painted in his video are not any longer. This video along with the instructions made it easy, though it is a long job

That needs a bit of thinking but follow all the holes on the IKEA plan to get it right. I bet that saved IKEA all of 50 cents on the unit and made it that bit more tricky to assemble

We had to get .IKEA to replace that panel, after three attempts they finally sent the right piece but that drawer has given trouble ever since. Now one of the rails does not work. there are 3 different types of "small" screws that come with this build. If you don't use the correct type of small screw then you will have a headache by the time you're done. I had this problem. I think Ikea changed some of the instructions since this video was made. Double check with the instructions when installing the tracks for the middle piece that you're putting the screws in the right hole next to the R or L
I hope you've already busted the problem. If not yet, I recommend you to tighten enough the drawer's screws which are fixing the rails. I had the same problem and solved it like that :)
