- I started the day interacting with the elephants both making food and feeding them. I then moved on to cover them in mud which i then washed off in the river. After the elephants, I had a nice bamboo raft ride with some rapids and nice scenery. Everyone regrouped for a prepared lunch. After lunch there was a 3 hour trek through the woods. Along the way I stopped at two waterfalls saw wildlife and rural human life. I really enjoyed the entire experience considering it was under $60 all day plus lunch.

Donot forget to go to Mea hong son and this month is good time for Tung Bua Tong in Yuam district , Mae Hong Son ,many thing to see there (not only Pai) you will love there.
As a Thai person. I suggest finding a local person to take you on a tour, it will be ten times more enjoyable. Most Thai people are friendly, but they're often just shy.
Seems you had a good time in Chaingmai! Don't forget to visit the F,loating festival (Loy kratong) next Monday (27th Nov)!
Already set I’ll be in Chiang Mai! Looking for the best places all three days!
