When people like Paul Newman you don't get a sense of acting you forget it is theatre .l don't think he ever acted out theatre that wasn't part of himself.
Who was the jerk doing the hammering? Mr. Newman looked a little bothered by it, but he didn't stop talking to avoid seeming precious about it. The voiceover of the original interviewer is annoying and poorly edited, but the interview is interesting.
