Yes! I am a couponer as well; And I have the same attitude as you! Anytime a coupon does not work, I let them know no worries, I understand, not their problem, and move on. I am very polite and friendly to the cashiers. I even bring my main cashier at the one store I shop weekly Starbucks coffee every once in a while. This is why Cashiers hate couponers The way they do! People like this are horrible! There’s never a reason to clear the shelves! This is why stores are now limiting the amount of coupons and transactions because of people like this.

I always grew up where if we needed to do more than one transaction my mom handed me or my sister the coupon and money so it was one of us “buying” the other items. This was largely done a Micheals if we needed multiple things so we could use multiple 40% off coupons but definitely happened at a few other places.
She admitted she spends 30 hours a week on couponing and she has a job. Assuming the job she works is full time, which would be 40 hours on average, plus the 30 from couponing, that's 70 hours a week of work and couponing. That's ridiculous

I feel bad when there's only 3 of something on the shelf and I take two. A man at the store last week took all 7 of the dinner roll packets and an elderly lady gave him a ballocking over it. Back when my kids were little, stores used to double dollar coupons a couple of times a month. i stocked up on bandaids, baggies, and cleaners, but the most i had was several boxes... NOT like these stockpiles.

This amazes me since we don't have these sort of coupons in my country. I can totally understand that her teenage daughter doesn't like to participate because they were at the supermarket for 10 hours. It would have been a nice gesture for the Mum to let her get a few treats with the overage instead of more drinks for her sons sports team. The daughter helped out by pushing trolleys etc and the son and his friends basically got rewarded for doing nothing. I know that this is just a tiny glimpse into their lives so my comment is based around what I saw. Bluntly put this mother put her son first, the sons friends second and her daughter last.
Clearing shelves wouldn't work in Europe! There is a one coupon, not combining policy for coupons which makes sense bc the coupons are for advertising purposes not for hoarding items like that! Especially when there isn't enough for everyone

A true couponer makes relationships with their stores and gets the ads ahead of time to make sure the manager orders enough to cover their "haul." If a manager knows a person wants a bunch of any kind of item when it goes on sale, he/she will order more to accommodate them. Most couponers don't do that, though. I worked in retail for nine years to observe it from both sides.

When I worked retail couponers were allowed to ring up only three transactions before having to go to another register or having to wait in line again. Our mission was to get people in and out quickly and one of these couponers could hold up a long line of customers that were potentially lost. My store manager was not going to let that happen!

Some stores limit the number of items purchased in a day to one customer. Store managers like to be notified before hand so they can order extra if they know a customer is going to want more than the usual amount of product at one time. We once had a customer buy so many coupon items that they wouldn't fit in her vehicle! Joke was on her!!!

I would love to go shopping with one of these people so so so so much! I wish they had coupons in like this is Australia! Though I don’t think it’s right not to preorder and not to leave any for others who may actually NEED only one or two items, that’s not ok.
Buying things she doesnt need, leaving nothing for other people just to satisfy her irrational need.
When I worked retail couponers were allowed to ring up only three transactions before having to go to another register or having to wait in line again. Our mission was to get people in and out quickly and one of these couponers could hold up a long line of customers that were potentially lost. My store manager was not going to let that happen!

@@kellymcfalls1458 Guess your company is stricter than mine on those things. We gave better customer service than your company which made my job easier since I enjoyed pleasing customers when I could. I'm not a coupon lady, but when We knew ahead of time when my favorite soda pop was going to be on sale my boss knew to always order me a couple cases of it for me. He'd put it in the stock room with my name on it for me. He was the greatest boss and I was fortunate to work for him before I retired.
i’m learning a lot about how import saving is and i actually really admire her work, it’s a little more then i would definitely do but i’m more interested in it the slump of a daughter she had
They did say she was shopping for the after school program and football team. Thats nice of her since for some children the school meals are all they have to eat.

Some stores limit the number of items purchased in a day to one customer. Store managers like to be notified before hand so they can order extra if they know a customer is going to want more than the usual amount of product at one time. We once had a customer buy so many coupon items that they wouldn't fit in her vehicle! Joke was on her!!!
Selfish daughter, as well as lazy. I don't agree with clearing shelves, the stores ought to forbid that.
