It's called, realizing when your ex wife is about to be your life boat. So best play nice with her to survive this pandemic because she has a stock pile.
this is great in terms of saving money and stocking up for emergency situations, but once you get past a certain point, it's just wasteful and a bit selfish. she could donate a lot of that crap to homeless shelters, women/children's shelters, churches, friends in need, etc.
She didn’t want to pay 20 something dollars? Wow she really freaked out because of that. That poor lady checker had to back track the items so the customer could double check. You had a great deal on all the transactions, so just pay the 20 and go. She’s being very rude and inconsiderate to the checker.
Why would she want to pay $20 for something that she knows she can get for free. The whole point of couponing is to not pay more than you have to. I dont think she was rude at all, she was very polite to the checker ... who gets paid by the hour whether she handles one customer or twenty.
Student of Life She was rude because there was a line behind her and the poor checker had already did three big transactions. And made the checker do it all over again just because of 20 dollars. Actions speak louder than words.
@@momofseven7098 /// I agree, she just had one slip up and she was being pretty nice. It's not like she gave the cashier attitude. It would be the same if the cashier had three separate customers, she gets paid either way.
@@a.greyson it was being recorded for a television show, there was no line behind her. That takes quite awhile to plan and set up. Im fairly certain the cashier knew exactly what to expect when she went to work that morning.
A. Robertshaw i don’t know what’s more concerning, the fact making someone do their job counts as being rude or the fact 184 other people agree that this was “rude.” The cashier is paid hourly 😂😂 god forbid she actually works for her paycheck.
You'd be surprised at what people make cashiers do. I used to work at target where they give a lot of gift cards as promotions. this lady qualified for a 20 dollar gift card so I gave it to her mid transaction only for her to ask where her gift card was at the end. I told her I thought I already gave it to her I thought I saw her put it in her purse, she barely peeks into her big bag and says no maybe I confused it for another one she used to pay with. Made me look through all the stacked used ones I had on the side of the register (30 at least) before opening up her wallet and seeing she put it up already
When I worked at Target, we were told to casually make an excuse to call the manager any time someone came in with a suspicious number of coupons. I feel like stores are getting wise to these couponers. Too bad they ruin it for the rest of us. Coupons are rarely as good anymore.
Extreme couponing is actually a lot of work. It all hinges on if you have time to do some research, clipping availability, store stock, & not being picky on whatever brand it is that you are getting. My husband and I like to look at the weekly circular newspaper bc the grocery store always has weekly coupons.
francine m. - as a couponer myself we also value our lovely cashier we dont do this kind of huge transaction. But if this is real and she’s the only ONE who scanned all of my items which 600 plus worth of groceries and there’s $20 amount. I will still accepted it WHY? ( even tho it supposed to be free ) Bc this transaction is almost 99% savings in real life i cant barely save that kind of amount until i learned how to do couponing. And for me for 5 years doing this i feel bad for cashier too when i have so many coupons especially when they find out they messed up my transaction she can be in trouble. Take note : store they dont TAKE COUPONS BACK There is a chance that cashier be in trouble might fired too. Couponing is not ALL about to get the items FREE Is to get the items in a LOWEST price. But unfortunately this senario is a huge LIE. but also in real life you can still get items free in a RIGHT WAY with tax tho. So the more you have huge items the more you tax is BIGGER
People do it and I work at Michaels! And it’s always when we are super busy! I don’t mind doing it but when i have a line up out the door don’t make me do extra transactions. I think cashiers wouldn’t mind if you went when it was like a graveyard shift or non busy hours.
@@Anonymous-eo2er Their job is to help you make your transactions to purchase items, if the coupons weren't meant to be used they wouldn't exist, why would you not want to do your job or help someone give income to your workplace for you to have a job there in the first place?

The store will get paid by companies such as Crest the value of the coupon+a few cents The company will get people to try out their product and can be seen as marketing
When a product goes in the market it gets marked up supplier + another mark up by the distributor. Shelf prices cost a lot more than production value. When an item gets on sale the shelf price would drop to reasonable amount let's say from 500 to 300. Being couponed or buy 1 get 1 would probably make that 300 half by 150. This 150 price is more than enough production value we didn't know (probably only around 50). Couponing it or putting it on sale actually help the companies to get rid of old stock but still able to have a kickback from their production value. There would be less loss in products.
I work at a grocery store. This is why we don't double coupons anymore, have a limit on rain checks and amount of coupons per transaction and don't let customers split up transactions. Like do you really need 20 vitamins?

So glad we don’t have this craziness in my country. Everyone gets sale/clearance price without an in store card and almost no such thing as a coupon that 1. Functions as money 2. You can use multiples of. Keeps it fair for everyone.
This are the folks who end up contributing to landfill. They over stock up on items for almost no cost and when they expire or go out of date, they bin them.....smh
Mercygrace I’m a couponer and I give to my family and friends. I also give to the cashiers and managers. Whatever is left, I donate. Organizations I donate to know who I am because I donate at least once a month. Nothing goes to waste. Most couponers are not wasteful.❤️
This is also my view on extreme couponers. I just can't imagine that every one of them actually makes the effort to get all the (nearly) expired stuff together and trying to donate it. Just in general I find the cheaper they want to live without having to (meaning they can pay full price for everything, they just don't want to) the more selfish people become. Because what do they do with those savings? Donate them? Ha ha ha, I wish! No, they'll just spend it on themselves and then excuse their cheapness by making the lowest effort good gestures such as using a tote bag, using their bike instead of the car, or giving one homeless person a dollar while passing by. As if that makes up for anything. I get particularly angry at the women who claim they need to shop like this when it turns out they have more than enough money in the bank to never worry about *anything*, let alone bloody groceries. Then just admit you're a cheapskate, jeez. Obviously not talking about every couponer, just the very extreme, entitled ones who would most likely not bat an eye to just throwing things away.
@@SteffiHenri1992 For starters, I'm a young person whose parents make a fairly decent wage to be able to afford the items in full-priced. I don't think it's wrong for people who can afford it at a normal price to start couponing. Granted, I wouldn't claim I have to do it cause I'm broke. The reason why I do it is cause it's a fun hobby, I'm cheap (was raised this way but not the extent as extreme cheap stakes) and I can afford nice gifts for people I like without being broke. Plus I do think this is a useful tool to use when I'm an adult. What they do with their saving from couponing is their own personal matter. It's up to them if they want to donate the money or not. I do agree that those that buy things just cause it's free without a proper plan on what to do with them such as donating or selling the products aren't the wisest especially if it's at a point where it's expired cause end of day they're paying taxes which ads up, it takes a room on their stockpile and landfills. People who buy often will normally donate/sell cause realistically they won't have room to store it anymore as it adds up normally.
@@obviouslyhuman6464 I'm not going to argue your hobby with you. If this is what you want to do and are OK with planning your life around saving your money then please don't let anyone stop you. But be aware that this what others might think of you. I certainly don't think of a charitable person when I'm picturing an extremely cheap but wealthy person and honestly doubt that others see differently. And you're right, savings are to be spent however the saver sees fit, but then people should stop defending her and others like her by saying that they donate a lot. I think constant unrelenting cheapness in absolutely every situation when you don't need to be is one of the most unappealing traits a person can have - this is *my* personal view on things, don't get offended, I don't know you. I do know what it's like to both have money and to be broke to the point of not being able to pay rent for several months. Still not going to save like my life depends on it because I want to go out and buy whatever I want without thinking and planning first. No one way is better, but I'm happy not being known as a cheap person because no one ever calls someone cheap and means it as a compliment. In conclusion: do what you want, at the end of the day it's your money and you can do whatever you want with it. Be as charitable or as cheap as you want. I'm going to hold onto my views because your arguments were not enough to sway me. I still believe most extreme cheapskates or couponers are not planning ahead on all the waste they will eventually have and will throw most of it away rather than donating them. I think extreme cheapness is only good for the person being cheap and no one else.
As soon as an owner gets wind of this they're going to change the coupon rules so what's the point. You end up spending more money (in the form of time) trying to save than you would if you just went out and made the money in the first place. It's pointless.
I think this is an addiction more than a matter of not making enough money. I mean really, spending time and energy to figure out coupons for dog food when you don't even have a dog? 🤔
Seriously? There's me getting minimal wage, working over time (most of the time) & having about £40 to myself after paying my bill's. And she was not happy to pay £20. Like seriously if I got that much shopping for £20, I would crying tears of happiness.

imagine if you were walking in a store looking for tampons pads or other essentials but all you see are empty shelves. you then go to the register and see that every extreme couponer has the whole store in their carts and you can't get anything because they are just stockpiling for no reason at all.
Meanwhile in every other country in the world “disclaimer! not valid with any other offers”

Maybe they are Friends but realized they were not marriage material?
Or maybe they are just behaving for the show ?? 🤣😂

It's called, realizing when your ex wife is about to be your life boat. So best play nice with her to survive this pandemic because she has a stock pile.

She’s so patient and so adorable 🥺
She reminds me of that ASMR girl snatching something from the camera ("viewer") and saying thank you. I think her name is Life with Mak
I would have snatched her snatch for snatching that card like that
Shout out to that cashier....she had an INSANE amount of patience with that whole situation.
this is great in terms of saving money and stocking up for emergency situations, but once you get past a certain point, it's just wasteful and a bit selfish. she could donate a lot of that crap to homeless shelters, women/children's shelters, churches, friends in need, etc.
I seen several shows where they do donate to food banks, shelters etc.
She put tike and effort into this and it's all gonna get sued by her family. Instead those people can learn how to coupon and get a job instead

It's not robbing a supermarket because everyone uses the reward card and the stores send in the coupons to be reimbursed!!

I can see why he divorced her.
The way he follows her around, I'd actually say it wasn't his idea
It seems like they aren’t divorced, maybe she just said that to have a valid excuse for her obsession with couponing
Why ! Because she is not wasting his money ?!
When I worked at Target, we were told to casually make an excuse to call the manager any time someone came in with a suspicious number of coupons. I feel like stores are getting wise to these couponers. Too bad they ruin it for the rest of us. Coupons are rarely as good anymore.
cashiers/managers are only being so accommodating cause of the cameras 🤣🤣

Extreme couponing is actually a lot of work. It all hinges on if you have time to do some research, clipping availability, store stock, & not being picky on whatever brand it is that you are getting. I need an explanation, how can a company let this happen? Like they are loosing so much money?
The store will get paid by companies such as Crest the value of the coupon+a few cents
The company will get people to try out their product and can be seen as marketing
They don't lose anything, they often make money for stocking said product. This is why I like America its true capitalism.

Men are notorious for providing for a new family , and forgetting about the children in the first marriage. She's a smart woman knowing how to cheaply put food on the table for her and her daughter, at very low cost.

Gordon Gamsay maybe her family or friends have dogs??
