Great demo! Would love to see you do one on that Mayonnes Jabba HF in the background. There’s not a lot of professional demos of those basses on UA-cam.
This brother on bass is real nice.. and although I have a Metroline Express ( 24 fret JJ with a Pau fern fb ) I’ll probably buy a Metro Express because it’s real good value for the amount of instrument you can have and I like a good value.
Ciao from Italy. A question to a person than can understand me easily. Last week I have tried a new Metro done by Warwick in Germany. It sound pretty well and mainly this Metro was “alive” .. I mean you can interact with the wood.. it freely vibrate allowing you to interact. I tried even a lot of SIRE bass (even V10) and those basses were like “dead”. Not alive. I couldn’t interact. So WHAT ABOUT THIS METRO EXPRESS. The sound is pretty nice ... bat in your personal feeling do it interact?
I have a quick question about the Sadowsky pre-amp. When you're changing between active and passive, does doing this cause much of a volume difference between active or passive? I know I'm some instruments there's a huge change, and on others there's almost none.
Metro Express are shit basses go & try before you buy & take care I bought one from Thoman & I returned it back, Rubbish, they just refunded me the money 🙏
I'm just curious, what made it rubbish? On this and other demos they sound terrific and they look great! I'm interested in this model, but I have concerns due to the many bad reviews
@@paulsnijder2031 give it a try by yourself in any shop, for me this my 2nd bad experience with Sadowsky & the first of them was an Sadowsky NYC 5,500 USD, & the neck was having problem to adjust buzzing all the time, for me the owner of Sadowsky if he accept for making money to make products like this then for me he & his products are rubbish money makers only no quality full stop, but go & try one by yourself
@@bassbonedo2158 congratulations but this dues to happen with normal customer it happen with people ho review the bass only, the bass has to be perfect so it give a good impression
Ciao from Italy. Today I have tried the Same identical bass of this test: the bass is good. Quite good LOW B on the model I’ve tried. Good on passive with quite good silent pickups and tones between PUs. Good on active with classical electronics. For sure you need to put effort to play on lower notes but it is in general very better (ALIVE!) with respect to SIRE basses. Very good object!
@@viktorbass sorry my bad i read that wrong! 😆.. with Respect to both Companies, I have played both and I personally had this same issue...I chose the Sire V7-5(ash)...the attention to detail and that broken in feel of the neck with rolled edges, Just like butta! And the B string is Sub basement but piano like, hope this helps.

It is so good to hear a good bassplayer making a sound demo 👍
First RSD test where I like the bass sound!
What a bass ! What a bass player ! So what a review ! Thank you ;-)
That growl is nasty!!!! Love that gritty tone, great demo!
Best demo player on UA-cam by far
That B string is thunder!
Increíble bajo. Increíble groove 😯

Sires use super dense and heavy woods which make them sound less "alive" in comparison. They have some serious boat anchors amongst them.
Very nice!!!
Excelent sound & design Sadowsky
are you recording this bass through a DI or micing up the cabinet? sounds good and a nice bottom end!
@bassbonedo2158 what's your preference between this bass and Sire V7?
Did you have the chance to play the PJ5 version? If so, which do you prefer?
damn. good sound man!!!
Amazing playi! With what strings did you equip this bass?
Thank you - it's really the stock strings!
Nice playing! I love the sound and look. However I've read and seen some bad reviews about this new series. Anyone experience with this bass?
Yes i have this model it is really nice plays and sounds absolutly great
are you using some kind of effect pedal?
Is this the same Metroexpress JJ5?
I have a quick question about the Sadowsky pre-amp. When you're changing between active and passive, does doing this cause much of a volume difference between active or passive? I know I'm some instruments there's a huge change, and on others there's almost none.
Here it's almost none! 🙂
Hey great demo! does it have passive/active switch?
Yes I believe it's on the treble knob, it's a push pull.
Single coil or humcanceling pickups.
what is the string spacing? 19 mm? it looks wide.
19mm according to the Warwick/Sadowsky specs indeed.
This or a Sire v7? I’m lost
I was wondering the same thing,V7 or This???
Guess we'll never know huh?? 😆 🤣 😂
Meshell Ndegeocello... Second bass line ;-)
is this made in china?
Yes it is.
but the HW/electronics is Sadowsky
@ sadowsky makes their hardwear not in china?
@@오오-c2t4i maybe. But they put their name on it, so it so I wouldn't be worried... Made in China does not mean the quality is worse...
No tone switch.. !

Well, all we can say is the two basses we've reviewed so far have been absolutely great - they came with perfect setup and straight necks!

this bass sound much betgter thatn those H. Benton, basses, as I hear it here , agree ?
Well it better, it's like, 10x the price of a Harley Benton
@@randygomez9595 no, that not true. Its abou double the price .
