You bring me some memories from my past self: I learned a futhark version from Internet, and wrote some things with it. But eventually I moved my attention, and forgot it. But i remember warmly some of the characters: it was hard to pick a favorite. It would be nice to see an explanation about runic magic: I remember some references about Odin being hardly involved, but I haven't found a source who explains why a rune on a sword is magic, but one on a more mundane source isn't. Has it something to do with the resistance of ancient northern people to write their knowledge? It has something to do with the time difference you mention? Are videogames and literature fair with runic magic, or did they go overboard? Were rune magic and Seidr linked? Were they attached to the person's genre? (I heard something about seidr being too feminine to male vikings). In summary: It would be nice if you decided to explain the relatively original conceptions of magic in northern cultures in contrast to current conceptions. Good luck in the fest, nice video. 👍
I also think that ruins letters look really cool and I made a dager out of cardboard and plaster of paris strips and added the work "dragon" on it with acrylic paint using the Elder Futhark letters
I was recommended your channel after watching a bunch of Heilung videos, I love their music and their costuming. I made a set of runes on small river rocks years ago, and would like to see more information on runes and rune readings. Enjoy the festival! Skol!
Oh I love being recommended after Heilung videos, seems like I'm on the right side of the internet! I'm definitely planning to make more videos related to runes! Thanks!

Thank you! I really enjoy how it turned out!
So amazing! I taught history for 30 years but never really studied Norse history. Glad you are so interested and involved in this area!
@@rlarsen52 The more you know! I love all history but there is just something about the North that keeps me interested
