I came across this and started to watch - looking at all of these different rooms I thought: is this a Covid-based recording? THe I looked at other videos - comparing your guitarist’s beard length to them I thought ‘Yes this must be a Covid-based performance. Honest, I had not looked at the title above the track. I then go searching on iTunes and yes this track in in your Quarantine Vol2 set of tracks. Gorgeous piece - well done for keeping the flame alive:-)

Wonderful! This is the way Bossa was meant to be played. With a heartfelt straightforward elegance. A voice floating over guitar and percussion (the bass here is wonderful too). I've long felt that those arrangers of the past who insisted on inserting batteries of violins into the background of otherwise amazing and beautiful Bossa recordings should all be charged with "crimes against humanity" - and since I don't think there is a statute of limitations on those - I say 'round em up.' :)

I been listening to Nova for a few years now and never get tired of them. I was 10 in 1966 and thought Bossa Nova was enchanting. Nova takes it to another level. I love the guitar players notes in the solo. I wish I can play as good as him.
