Love how the D-Type with the plate 774 RW is the 1955 Le Mans winner. It races in anger and is one of the highest mileage racing cars on the planet 🤯

The owner of that car is something else...
The D Type regularly races at Le Mans Classic, in fact, that D Type won its grid on this year's Le Mans Classic!
The owner also owns an ex-Duncan Hamilton Jaguar C Type, the oldest surviving C Type in the world, and he also races it!

Mention of the Lotus 15 always reminds me of two quips from that period. "The Lotus 30, just like the Lotus 15, but with twice the problems". And my favourite, "LOTUS. Lots Of Trouble, Usually Serious".

Another epic tussle. Some of those roll bars are not high enough to protect the driver's head. The orange number 37 is a prime example.
