This is Baba Charlie Lee's off-the-main street bakery that has a 60-year heritage of fine authentic Nyonya kuih tradition . Baba Charlie has been at this business for almost 30 years and everyone around is always looking for his temptations. Just look at his ancestors' pictures and you can sense the authenticity in the air! The bakery starts churning out over 20 types of kuih as early as 4 am everyday in order to cater for the hot demand from walk-in customers who have heard of Baba Charlie and his kuih. Locals as well as tourists are always to be seen here. You will be surprised with the fresh-from-the-bakery colourful variety and sweet temptations all places right before your eyes. You name it they have it.Kuih bakul, durian dodol,and now even Baba Charlie's nasi lemak and pickled mix! Surely they are hard to resist! Come see and taste them for yourself !
