    Crow,
Yeah, Zen made it easy for me to pass up on this latest iteration of their pinball product. The leap from Pinball FX2 to FX3 already left a bad taste in my mouth, re-buying tables mixed and matched into repackaged packs (a mouthful for sure, but made it even more confusing of a system; on purpose). Zen may have not realized that some of us never forgot their unscrupulous move, and I for one, lost trust with the brand.
It's no surprise to see that Zen is doubling down on their anti-consumer tactics, pushing the boundaries as far as they can, now with their own internal monetization system in the form of tickets. This is nothing new as other companies have employed these tactics before, to force people to spend more than they need to, not allowing them to just make a honest one-to-one purchase of something, leaving extra money stuck inside a game's internal system. I've never bought into one of these systems and I never will.
Maybe there's still hope for Zen on the Arcade1up front, but as far as their new "Pinball FX" for PC? They're not fooling this savvy consumer and I'm not buying.

I wasn't aware that Grimm Tales was based on fairytale stories, as I wasn't familiar with the source material.
But despite all the exclusive tables they've brought out this year, I'm not going to get this reboot while it's still an Epic Store exclusive. Whether its monetization practices and other issues are still present when it exits out of early access and onto other platforms, I will worry about at that point. In the mean time, I still have Pinball FX3, it's two predecessors and all the purchases I've made on them so far. And if I wanted to try out these newly added Williams tables, I could probably do so in Williams Pinball on mobile, if that is still being supported. Or better yet, The Pinball Arcade since I already own those two featured ones on PC and Android, and maybe Xbox if I'm not mistaken. Plus I can still buy the Indy table for Pinball FX 3 if it was on sale, since the price is really steep.

The Mirror Ball lives in collectibles>events>Zen but it is only there as an option if it can put it on that particular shelf.

I found it... I swear it wasn't there the first time I looked for it though.

Disney basically built their empire on plagurizing Grimm. LOL. I want Stern and Jersey Jack tables. Does anyone do Jersey Jack and will Zen do Stern? Also. I need to find a copy of Mr. Do and arcade of Missile Command. Missile Command Retro doesn't cut it, it doesn't even have stages. Ditto for Centipede.

Farsight Studios might still have the Stern license

Tickets don't bother me after awhile as it did at first. You buy the tickets from Epic but the tickets are redeemed by Zen, thus Zen is in control of the tables not Epic. I hope it will be beneficial this way in the future. As for extra tickets, there won't be any extra tickets as long as Zen is producing content. My problem now is the single table releases like Grimm that cost 55 tickets which is probably too much for my taste. However, when Bride came out, I was able to bundle with Fun, Station, and Dude which was sweet. I'm hoping this ticket system will allow some cross-platform playing in the future. I don't like Epic as you can't play the damn thing with no internet or it's out! I hope to have this all on Steam someday
