I’m really glad that you didn’t blame waterbox for the shipping problems, I’m sorry that you had issues but so many people would bad mouth companies when the problem was not their fault!
Fantastic video Kaity......I like your honest in-depth review of both pro/con of the Waterbox. This is one of the better reviews I've seen. Nice to see you have African Cichlids, exactly what I intend to have in my Waterbox. I just purchased the 100.3 Reef as I wanted a sump filtration and will be setting it up next month. Thanks, appreciate the video very much.
Thanks Katy. I have Haps and Peacocks. I am considering ordering this tank. They are on sale. I have watched many of your videos and I want to thank you so much for the helpful tips. I need a big tank yesterday. Something funny happened. On a 5 fish order for my 75 gallon I accidentally clicked on Jumbo on an insignis hap. He came in 9and 1/2 inches and 4 inches tall. He's the boss and I'm fast shopping bigger tanks . My Malwalwi gar my bucco no no and others are growing so fast I almost want to cut their good food vitamins and garlic. Just kidding I would never. Hope you see this I'm a fan of your work and you are great with your fish!! Love it!
I almost purchased a smaller cheaper tank but I have been inspired by your waterbox set-up and have decided to go this way also . Unfortunately now I'll have to be super patient because I won't have room for it until the extension on my house happens early next year. Going to be a tough waiting 😬
Thanks Katie for the waterbox review, after my 4th - 5 foot store bought tank leaking ( marineland and perfecto) I'm seriously considering the waterbox 6025 tank, My next video to watch is your cover video, I'm definately going to need a cover.
@@soundpitchblack Had the water box for almost 2 years now and love it, expensive but worth it in my opinion, beautiful tank, I bought clips to hold green house siding for tops, also works great
Beautiful tank kaity! I bet it cost a small fortune. 💰 I have 4 tanks I bought from Petsmart. There ok but that water box is sweet! I am a New subscriber I enjoy your channel
Hello, I just bought the same tank, and I have a question about glass grippers, what model should I buy to hold this weight? Thank you for your answer and best regards
Beautiful~> is the only thing I can think of to call this… I wish you would had, had the Tank in your home to where you could Walk around it.. look like your Place is Big enough… All in All.. Great Aquarium, great Job..😀
Thank you!! And I think great minds must think alike, because that's also my favourite style of tank! I would love to have one that is a room divider one day
@4:49 try using a hand sanitizer/ rubbing alcohol with microfiber cloth on the oil and finger prints. I find adding plants really relaxing for both fish and human 😂😂😂🤣. Give it a try.
Thank you!! If you find plants relaxing you are going to absolutely love a video of a fish room tour that I'm uploading soon. The owner is super into plants, and it really did sway me into wanting a planted tank because the setups are so natural and beautiful
@@Kaityscichlids I will look forward to that, thank you. ☺️ Planted tanks help with maintaining a good pH level. Plus plants and rock when moved around in tank from time to time stops fish from duelling as soon as the tank setup is altered.
I'd love to have a tank like that, but I have no place to put it. I'm resigned to doing a 75-gallon African Cichlid tank, with haps, peacocks, and, yes, mbunas too.
Hey Kaity, thanks for this vid, I am looking at the same tank at the moment. Just a question regarding your flooring - is your flooring floating or glue down or something else. I am getting some conflicting information. Thanks
Great video !! I’m thinking to buy the clear pro 6025 And I live on a flat that has engineering wood/under floor heating - do you think the weight should be ok ? Any thought would be greet
Thank you so much 😊 I wish I could answer this, but I’m honestly not too sure! My tank is on vinyl flooring which has a concrete slab under it so I didn’t think too much about the flooring
@@Kaityscichlids thanks dude - did you use any RO or RODI for your freshwater aquarium here ? Or in other words, when you add/change water: do you just add from the tap ? And how many heaters did you use ?
@@AmeXcy I just add in water conditioner to the tank then add the water straight from the tap for these guys. And every now and then I add some buffer to the water to help it maintain a high pH
@@AmeXcy when I'm refilling the tank the heaters are turned off because they aren't submerged enough. So in Winter I try to match the water from the tap to the tank water by putting the tap on warm water. Then as soon as the water is high enough I turn both of the heaters on. In Summer the water out of the tap is 28 degrees already, so I can just leave it on cold water. It's a lot better on the electricity bill in Summer!
Hi Imesh! Most glass tanks have bracing that connects the panes of glass at the top of the tank. But with a rimless tank the glass is so thick it doesn't need the bracing, so it is completely open at the top
Nice tank, BUT WAY WAY, OVERPRICED! FOR WELL OVER 4 Grand USD and NOTHING comes with it, thats NUTS! I would easily go acrylic and for that price i can get a 375 GALLON set up. Nice set up though.
Wow. That’s for the uplifting info. You’re a joy to be around I’m sure. Are you just a bitch looking for a place to happen with the all caps? Or was it just a bad psychological day for you?
This young lady did an excellent job with this video review 👏 👌

You definitely won't regret it!! It's was so difficult waiting for mine, it really taught me to be patient though lol
Are these only available in Australia? I love these large rimless aquariums and the build quality, it looks so elegant and clean.
It actually got shipped to me from the US! I think they ship around the world
Looks amazing, thank you for the info!

That would be so frustrating!! You don't expect a brand new tank like that to leak. The Waterbox tanks are great
Seriously considering the same tank

Hello, I just bought the same tank, and I have a question about glass grippers, what model should I buy to hold this weight? Thank you for your answer and best regards
You should buy some vinyl wrap for the cabinets. Could fix the finger print issue.

Thinking about getting a Waterbox Eden X 80 gallon tank. It has the metal stand wrapped in the wood. Do you feel their stands are sturdy?
My stand has definitely been sturdy enough! The one for the Waterbox 7225 isn't metal though, but it's held up well
Do you have two canister filters? - Tank looks amazing!
Thank you so much 😄 and yes, I’m running 2 FX6’s on it - one on each end of the tank
hello kaity very beautiful aquarium bravo please tell me which company and how much it costs where you can buy lighting for your aquarium
Thank you so much :) The tank is from Waterbox, and the lights are Freshwater AI Primes. I bought the lights online through Tech Den
Hi I have same tank clear 7225 waterbox. Can you show me where can I find lid look like yours thanks a lot

I only feed pellets for these guys now. I used to feed some brine shrimp, but I no longer do because my Mbuna don't digest protein well

What kind of rock or reef that you have for your aquascape?
Hi Xavier! Thank you so much for subscribing to my channel! The rocks I have are Texas Holey Rocks :)
Thank you
So you've got access to Cades over there and ordered a waterbox 🤔
Cade cabinets don’t look great in my opinion. I’d never buy a wood stand though
Yeah, the CADE wasn't quite what I wanted, I think it was to do with the dimensions (and also preferring the look of the Waterbox)
