    Hi Phill! Today I received my results for the CAE exam and I got 207 (with 210 and 209 on reading and use of English 😁)! I wanted to thank you for all the recourses that you put out there, your videos and articles helped me a lot during my preparation! Please keep it up, you are awesome 👏

      @@yalvar Este video explica muy bien todo, especificamente me ayudó mucho lo de en el reading no leer las opciones antes de terminar el texto ya que lo que hacen es confundirte y si terminas de leer antes te sentís mas seguro cuando pones tu respuesta. Luego en el resto de partes tené en cuenta los consejos del video. En el speaking hablá con seguridad y alargá lo maximo posible tu respuesta, procurá que el examinador te detenga.

      En el writing aprendete varios linking words, trata de no repetir mucho la misma palabra y usa sinonimos. De el resto no sabria que mas decirte porque en el Use Of English conseguí 202 puntos y eso me ayudó a conseguir el grado C por 1 punto.

    I passed the exam with a score of 197 (3 points short from an A, sadly), and this is mainly thanks to you and your channel, as well as others that do the same kind of videos as yours.

    In part 8, are there always 2 matching options per paragraph?

    • @teacherphill
      @teacherphill  4 місяці тому +1

      No, that can change from task to task. You might also get only four or even six short texts so it would be impossible to match them an equal number of times.

    How much time do you mean by saying "quickly read", expecially in the 5th part?
    Like 3 minutes?

    • @teacherphill
      @teacherphill  Рік тому +1

      I mean as quickly as possible but only so fast that you can still understand the gist of the text. It depends on your personal reading speed and skill.

      @@teacherphill thank you, i tried reading the entire text carefully before aswering the question and got 1/6 in 12 minutes.
