Dave's looking noticeably happier than usual and I'm guessing its just down to the pure excitement of getting back in a real life racing car 😄
The smile on his face when he talked about it - he just beamed - so yeah, I'd say he's pretty stoked :-)
You can still get a flat tyre in ACC by driving over some kerbs, just takes several laps of doing it, losing pressure until the tyre gives.
I always feel like a gentleman driver when David speaks, only with no money at all. Great video .

These look great, I've got a friend who's a pit crewman for a GT4 team and they're a blast to watch. Seeing a Mustang battle a McLaren is wild. Front vs mid layouts, US vs EU, exit power vs top speed...it's a great series
Dave, how do you feel about these cars in relation to the GT4s in iRacing? Would you consider these more or less accurate in terms of driving feel and car performance?

is there anyone running ACC on a Triple Monitor setup ? I have 3 x 4k, 11520x2160, but the max ACC picks is the resolution of just one monitor, 3840x2160. AC, AM2, rFactor2 all work fine ?

The problem with ACC is the FFB, it's a bit disconected from the car, not that direct, a bit laggy and slow in reactions.
I feel too, but that's a personal opinion that sometimes the cars do very quick spins without aparent reason, without time to react. Also light damage penalties a lot in laptimes too much, you can loose 2 seconds from a little scrach. The physics undeneath are probably the best in GT.
@David Perel: Are you no longer driving in GT World Challange? I know you've signed with Kessel Racing, but i dont see them as a Team

yeah cars are nice and all but i'd rather have the game just with gt cars if it meant they had off removed the stupid childish......forced ghosts when driving in the pitlane.....seriously this oh so, lets this down and destroys the realism................at least there should of been an option to switch this off??..........if same is the same in future kunos releases ....you can scratch me off any preorder lists.........seriously it's ridiculous

the AI isnt that good at overtaking, multiclass would just be stupid or require lots of AI rework. Not to mention that blancpain GT didnt run multiclass IRL.
^ no game has gotten multiclass AI right yet
they just form queues and become stupidly easy to overtake
while I'd appreciate the option regardless, I can understand it not being there especially in ACC which is very focused
GT3's are boring enough. GT4's? Good Gawd!
Your enthusiasm about ACC is what got my to buy it and I haven't regretted it for a single second. It's an amazing game and I can't wait to try out the GT4 cars

Only online, atleast at first. Maybe we will see singleplayer multiclass sometime soon. They havent said anything about that

Strange you don't mention the PS4 version in a video about the how it's feels etc. You are a GT3 driver so you know how it should feel & wat missing.

Really missing your content Dave. What's the outlook on that front? Playing GT Sport and watching your videos has really got me into GT3s and I'm likely to get a wheel and ACC. How would you say GT compares to a genuine sim like ACC? Thanks!
the Mclaren is insanely fast.....Ginetta feels like a noob's journey in sim racing......Mercedes is a bit hard for me.....
and i like the optimization of mouse steering....now it feels more like GTR2...

100% buy for me but will be a while before anything can pull me away from rfactor2 GTE, by far the best physics and ffb.

hmmm the audio is quite bad on this video i can barely understand u with my computer as loud as it will go.
Drove the Cayman at Silverstone yesterday and didn't feel the snappiness tbh. Could just absolutely send it on the brakes into the corners. Almost felt like the Porsche is happiest braking and turning in at the same time (or trailbraking) where in the BMW and Camaro for example you gotta get your braking done in a straight line before the corner or (like you mentioned) you just miss the apex on ABS. Just my two cents :)
Am no expert but I know quite a few of people sayin porsches especially 911 gt3 dont like trail brakin those are the road cars with stiffened susp tho so there is that

This game would really blow iracing out of the water if it featured a better online, with a rating system and everything, for people who don't have time to commit to a racing league. It's really whats preventing me from spending more time on ACC vs iracing, I hope Kunos addresses this.
Hopefully The Sim Grid can fix that in future

David, do you know if they will allow for simultaneous multi-class racing in ACC? GT3 and GT4 at the same time like Le Mans ?
I do know for sure multiclass will be available in mulyiplayer. I saw his live stream earlier today and would not say if it would be possible in single player. Seemed more like a no than a yes.

the online is alive enough, what are you talking about? All the CP server splits fill up every time, and theres a bunch of normal servers.
Im not gonna lie and say theyre an amazing experience in terms of how clean they are and also skill level (in comparison to leagues or iRacing) but they exist.
Shame you couldn't make it in the preview race and come up with a wacky name to hide your identity too.

What steering ratio should we use on acc? 540 or should we change it
Use 900 on wheel drivers and also 900 ingame. ACC will make the animation match 1:1 and automatically use the real car's steering lock (so if a car has 540 degrees like Ferrari, ingame wheel & tyres will stop turning past 270 degrees to one side on your IRL wheel.
Although apparently that feature doesnt work on consoles. maybe theyve fixed it, try it if youre on console.

How would you compare this game to iracing?
he has said before it feels more realistic. and i'd probably agree, especially the slides are much better in acc.
@@whysoslow1999 I didn't get to really play the game but couldn't really feel any good force feedback. Plus I tried calibrating my wheel but the in game wheel just kept on not matching up with my wheel irl. Only had 2 hours to try to fix but couldn't so I just refunded and stuck with iracing. I feel like both game of course has its pros and cons but I also hear race car drivers saying how iracing is realistic to so I guess it just depend on what u want.

Where is the console update?
Queued up behind the much needed patch to make wheels work, stabilise frame rates etc. It could be months before this update hits consoles.

What I saw yesterday in two races... Just ... Amazing!!! It's the whole new game called DLC but I wouldn't mind paying the price of the full game for this "other half of the game"/"DLC." Guys at Kunos deserve the money for this amazing "piece of code" upon which they build ACC. And much love from sim community @Kunos wizards!!!
