The Feelgood Band are the tribute band Wilko refers to at the 60 minute mark, as he says, he saw us at The Railway Southend and was visibly very pleased. He's seen us more than once, so he must have enjoyed it 😎
In the 70"s I went into the Kensington Pub and the pub was so packed I could only just get in. Feelgood were playing and they really rocked the place. Will never forget it. Blow me away !!!
I'm chuffed I found this on the utube , I saw the feelgoods through the 70s until life's twists and turns , then Wilko, disease and Roger Daltry , then a plethora of utube malarkey that's Wilko based . Real decent bloke , hope the angels sing with him . 👍🇬🇧
I wish you made these conversations in a cafe/pub just to sit next to you and watching you talking for hours.... By the way once again epic and funny episode!! Can't wait for any merch!!
This stuff is priceless. Its great to see two men from the Rock industry to talk with such passion and integrity. It won’t be long before you will not get this any more.
Absolutely a legend for sure. The first time i heard Dr Feelgood i was floored by his guitar techniques. I know Mick Green is where he got it but he put his spin on it. Bruce, love ya too man but lets hear some Wilko
Great show as always honestly say never knew who Dr Feelgood was.. but I know Ian Dury great music. Might have to learn some more Blues🎸 which I love. Don't worry I already know heaps of Iron Maiden cut my teeth on that stuff. Love Iron Maiden❤️❤️❤️🎸
Lee Brilleaux and Wilko delivered one of the best lyrics between them: I'm gonna get some concrete mix And fill your back door up with bricks So you better be there waiting When I get my business fixed
The 'perfection in a bigger setting' thing, I don't know about that. There's gonna be more volume involved certainly, and that's something Iron Maiden would know about.
Excellent conversation guys. But i have to disagree regarding Ian Drury. I met him personally several times in the 1980's. Ian was only ever mouthy with people who he felt threatened by. Wilko simply points put that the booze brought it out more.
If I wanted a Bruce interview I would have chosen one.
Totally. Pre Punk and post punk- Wilko is the man
Right, ask your guest what they did with touring schedule, I don’t care what you did on tour Bruce

That’s a good review, great for you guys! :)

Compelling viewing. Cheers guys, please keep this show going.
Goodness knows we need more enlightenment on this web lark.

Fabulous. What a delight. Thanks to all.
Will be seeing him for the first time later this month. You’re an absolute legend, Wilko. So happy to see so much love being thrown his way lately 🎭

Was it you at Crick festival this year ? Bloody brilliant 😊😊😊
Brilliant stuff. Far more interesting than Joe Rogan. Deserves more subs.
Rogan has become a despicable human being. I have no use for him.
@@keefriff99 agreed.
Ian Dury was like a missing guest on this one. Never thought I'd see Bruce and Wilko together 😂
The surgeons gave him an extra 10 years.
People used to take the piss out of folk singers with a hand over one ear but it is just creating a natural vocal monitor
something just came into my head. wilco? is some sort of cb radio talk i must have heard in a movie.

I wish I knew then, what I know now, when I was younger. Don't we all?
Wilco can’t get a word in .
Wilko looks like William Burroughs here.
No 4 legged donkeys living down Bruce Dickinson's street😁

There's artists & people who are in it for the money or power (same thing)........Wilko Johnson was an artist, of Bruce Dickinson I'm not so sure.
but does he like the city girls?
What happened to Bruce Dickinsons wife ?
Death by narcissistic I guess
