Greattttt!😀
Good to see you back posting videos. I hope all is well with you.
Thanks. Been some life distractions over the past track. Getting back on board. 😀

Hey Stephen. Would you be able to do a video on drawing people up close? I know you have people in the background, but I’d love it if you showed us how you draw people close up in your style. Even a portrait maybe?
It’s not an area I have enough experience in to think I can offer in a video. But perhaps in the future. 😀
Thank you! Very encouraging.
What was the blooming plant behind you in the first segment? Almost looked fake. :) Some of the issues that I vow to work on are perennial repeaters...it can take quite a few drawings focusing on weak areas. Working through it (and the minor disappointment) is part of the game, I guess. I think that's what was on my mind when I switched from drawing birds to flowers - quite different kinds of detail and form.
It’s an Australian species, the Grevillea. Great variety and range of colours and flower shapes. This is one of only a couple that have ever thrived for me. Every subject has its challenges, but lots of the skills we develop are not subject specific and will help you whatever you draw. Keep pushing on Scott. 😀
@@stephentraversart Beautiful. It made your background look like a computer fake. :)
