We use the Stihl fsa 135r trimmers paired with the AP300s batteries. The 500 batteries were not out when I purchased them. Run time all depends on what setting you’re running on and how thick of stuff you’re running through. I like setting 2. Gives enough power and saves battery. Weekly Grass you will see anywhere from 35-45 minutes. Setting 3 trough waist high grass your probably 30-35. Here is a link to Stihls usage chart. www.stihlusa.com/WebContent/CMSFileLibrary/downloads/APsystem.pdf if you looking between the fsa 135r and the fsa91r I’d highly recommend the 135! The 91 is lighter in weight but feels heavier because it’s unbalanced. The 135r is definitely my favorite trimmer and all of my guys grab them. The 91r never gets used. Hope this helps.
I don't use the finger grips on the Stihl but find it much easier to use my palm to wind the string, but that's just me.
Any difference in speed feed heads on electric vs gas?
No. It’s the same shaft as the gas unit.
I like the stihl the 26-2 better imo
What kind of string do you use?

That would be quite an accomplishment to down a shot, every time he said "speed feed head".
