- In this video you will be able to observe the ultrasound-guided lumbar infiltration technique (through direct vision of the needle).
It is considered an advanced technique within ultrasound-guided techniques and should be performed only by expert personnel.
I hope you like it
Thanks.
I use the axiale / transverse view to mark the puncture zone .
I actually do all my epidurals after ultrasound visualization.
It works very well.
Sometimes I do the para median approach when the inter spinous space is to narrow.
Gracias maestro exelente abordaje epidural en tiempo real saludos desde Costa Rica 🇨🇷
Great doc roques. Your videos inspired me. Thx.
Thanks for the beautiful demonstration!
Hello colega.
Which parameters do you use to get these images? I am performing these infiltration but usually don't have such a goo quality.
Thank you
Dr F. I.
Very didactic video. This approach is a very good option combining clearly vision, effectiveness and the feasibility of a sterile technique.
Which US probe is used here? Curvilinear probe? What is depth setting?
Thank you so much for a good video!
hi,nice vedio, i have a question?which needle did you used?
Hellow good afternoon do you use combine ultrasound and then fluroscopic confirmation
Hi, great video! 1 question: can you perform this technique alone or do you need an assistant? It seems difficult to advance the needle + put constant pressure on the syringe with 1 hand since you have to hold the echo probe in the other. Or is it possible? Thanks and greetings,
Joris
Can you do video for thoracic epidural
Great video! Just wanted to double with you the patient position. Is it sitting or lying? Any difference from a regular not-guided injection?
Lying
@@VicenteRoques Lying on a side or prone? Spine straight or flexed?
@@IgorWilderman prone with slightly flexion
Un genio, como siempre. El abordaje mediano con US presentaría mayor dificultad?
El abordaje medial con US es casi imposible
@@VicenteRoques gracias!
Thanhk you very much. Excelent video
Thanx for ur great show....but i didn't observe any dural tenting after LA injection!!!
You won’t see dural displacement in adults.just sutil dural sac movements. If local anesthetic is out of epidural esparce, local anesthetic will spread over lamina to superficial muscular structures.
is that a normal epidural needle or an echogenic one?
Normal epidural needle.
@@VicenteRoques thank u !
Do anybody need high resolution ultrasound or can do with ordinary ultrasound ?
How to avoid arterial injection ?
