    Helpful Amazon Reviews
"I was a bit skeptical after reading on the mixed reviews. I figured even if I got only one use for what I needed it for was worth it so I purchased it and within a couple days was at my doorstep. I immediately put it together and like the other reviews found the last crossbar was a bit difficult to lock into place, but seriously nothing a little muscle can't handle. The quality of the material as well as the carrying case I found to be very durable. Instructions can be found stitched on the inside flap of the carrying case, very handy. So worth my investment, glad I took the chance on it."
"We bought two of these cots for camping because we were tired of worrying about our air mattress leaking while camping. Believe me, it happens. I was very pleased at how well made they are. The canvas is heavy duty and felt quite durable. I didn't feel like it was going to rip or let go. The set up process is pretty easy but you may need an extra set of hands when attaching the second end of the canvas. Ours were very tight on our first set up but after the first use it was a little easier. My husband and I both found these cots to be very comfortable to sleep on and had no problem turning over from side to side. One drawback. The canvas carry bags are not as durable as the cot canvas and tear easily. Both of our came with holes in them. This is not due to Amazon packaging as I have noticed this in every store I looked at these in.
All in all, a great purchase and I would recommend to a friend."

I've owned two for 16 years. They have each been used a total of about 80-100 nights and I would continue to use them.
Yes, the canvass is real tight when you first put it together, and after a dozen nights on it and setting it up a few times it becomes easier to set up.

I have one of those cots and it’s very comfortable but here’s the problem with it . #1 assembling it in the stand up position in a smaller 2 or 3 man tent isn’t as easy as you’d think #2 the feet are square and sharp at the corners and tears up the ground sheet in a tent. #3 the carry bag is poorly made and tears at the seam. So I give this cot a 2 out 5 .

Could you not assemble it outside the tent and just pack it in ? I was wondering about the feet also .

Very similar to the ones the Army uses. The Army ones are notorious for being difficult to put together with that last bar being super hard to get in.

Very nice! Guess what! You just figured it out yourself, the way the army directs those cots to be put together! (Desert Storm Vet first hand exp.)

I purchased something similar at Costco. Two huge black and blues on my legs due to the corner bars sticking out.

I just received one of these as a gift and it was basically impossible to get that last bar on. I tried your method and still had no luck - the cot was bending in the middle due to the pressure and still it wouldn't lock on. I finally used a hammer handle as a lever to force the bar over the peg. Was still very difficult. Hopefully it will stretch out. Was hoping this would be an easy setup for one of my kids but so far it's a grown man maximum effort assembly required.

Thank you! That last corner is laughably difficult to put on. Your trick of stepping on it is the only non-cursing method.

Hey bro could you tell me the width of the top and bottom bars? it says the width of the cot is 35in but those bars seem to stick out a bit more.

Thanks Patricia! I had a camping channel I wasn't able to keep up with the comments, so I moved some of those videos over here & closed it down. I turned off notifications for subscribers to be notified of these videos, but just wanted to keep them available for anyone searching for info on them.

Lay the cot on its side and the fabric would be looser to get that other bar on. Make sure the fabric is centered in the middle. You don't need to stand it up and step on the bar.
