Yeah, ALON and LAON are twin albums but total opposites. Pablo said that he doesn't want to leave us feeling sad, depress or overall feeling heavy with ALON that's why he came up with LAON which is full of hopeful, inspirational, and positive vibes. Sadly, theres no eng subs yet but all his songs have meanings. Puyat is quite deep actually it teared me up first time listening to it. He says that if we're feeling down just listen to ALON and if we're feeling good then go for LAON. He's just a complete package he gives us everything and moree.
The way Pablo described these two albums is that the first album Alon (Waves) contains all the pain he felt throughout his journey so far. Most of the songs in that album were written when he was struggling mentally about everything that's going on with him and the group. This second album, Laon, (in English means "Eventually" or "In Time"). Eventually, everything will heal. It will get better. This is what Laon is about. In this album he sang about everything else about him. His love for riding his motorcycle (Neumun), his love for basketball in Butata (Fun Fact: Pablo was a varsity player back in his college days, he was point guard), how he learned to not care about haters in Don't Care and his love for creating theatrical pieces like "Tambol" (Drums). Blessed is just a fun good vibes song. And Micha! is so freaking hype, especially if you'd watch him perform it live. My favorite, however, would be "Puyat" (Insomnia). I think it is common knowledge among A'tin how Pablo struggles to get a good night sleep. He worries a lot and oftentimes could not sleep because of anxiety among other things. In "Puyat", however, he flipped the script and looked at his struggles in a new light. He focused on who he is staying awake for, the people he loves and the dreams that would plague his mind in his waking hours. :) I'm really glad that you enjoyed Alon x Laon. I have these two albums on blast for weeks now. :). I recommend that you check out his Una Mall Tours. Micha! is honestly so amazing performed live. P.S. I would also like to appreciate the clever album art for both Alon and Laon. This is just my own interpretation. In Alon, it is the skin of the sheep that is highlighted. The wolf is barely visible. In this album, the wolf really tried to hide itself. To blend. To disguise himself like the rest of the flock. But in Laon, it's like the wolf realized that it really does not need to do all that. No matter how hard he tried to hide, what he is is what he is. He is oftentimes confused, yes, sad, maybe. But he is also so much more than the sum of his tragedy. And the wolf became visible when he realized this. He gave up on trying to hide.
Blessed is his gift to us A'tin and all that supported him. He is so grateful as alwyas. Blessed has beautiful melodies. I think if the lyric video made you smile then its achieved its purpose. Haha

Exactly!!! PABLO IS THE MONSTER IN THE CENTER OF THEM ALL. Pablo's albums make me feel like filling up the void that Sb19 hasn't released an album for a long time. Don't get me wrong.. I love Josh's Stell's, Justin and Ken's releases. I listen to them often too other than Kalakal. I just feel that Pablo's is closest to how SB19 sound cuz he mainly writes and composes for the group.

I mean, I guess his core artistry is really hard to be boxed but he's soooo good with his freakishly deep angry emotional songs that no one does it like him! But he said in several interviews that he'd also like to do light and happy songs - so I guess most of LAON tracks is him satisfying that desire. You're right, Sam! I also love angry Pablo haha. I mean, I guess his core artistry is really hard to be boxed but he's soooo good with his freakishly deep angry emotional songs that no one does it like him! But he said in several interviews that he'd also like to do light and happy songs - so I guess most of LAON tracks is him satisfying that desire. But you really can't beat him with his own sound :) Love this reaction! Enjoyed it as always! Please watch the live of Micha. I regret I wasn't able to come to the 2nd UNA Tour stop.
